Saying that the program did become a bit farcical by having a selective audience, surely it would have been more insightful to have some audience member there who do vote BNP to try and establish what attracts them to the party.

Also apart from a writer who was on the panel with him I don't think any of the others did particularly well or contributed much to the discussion.

Today in a scripted PR exercise he was saying how having the show in London which has been "ethnically cleansed" wasn't fair, I mean just using words like that is purely to get a reaction and extend the coverage they are getting at the moment.

The other political parties need to address why some voters are looking to the BNP, it's easy for people just to assume it is only white racists who would support them when it is not neccesarily the case.

The whole political system in the UK has become a joke over the last few years with so much going on away from the actual business of the state of the country, people are generally dissapointed with the whole affair at the minute.

good point fedfan, and couldn't agree more - the whole question-time thing could have been waaaaaaaay better - i found myself screaming at the tv screen at one point (well, shouting) "LET HIM ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!!!!!!", because there was too much attacking and not enough allowing-to-respond going on. Suppose it's a narrow line between trying to get a guy to expose his nasty policies and having him expound his propaganda.

Very true re the other major parties having hard questions to answer re why people are voting for the BNP, even in relatively small (although increasing) numbers - I'd be a little nervous that they'll see this question time fiasco as good reason to not bother doing that, unfortunately.

Hi ho. Back to the hilarious redneck stuff now dammit....itellyuywhuh....lol!!!!!!!

The BNP getting a few seats is all a big fuss over nothing.
