In this case the better team trumped the better goalie. Great game. Canada deserved to win.

I'm British, don't look at me. :)

To be honest, I'm glad Canada won. Had the USA won, 75 to 80 Canadians would have committed suicide. In comparison, only 75 to 80 Americans actually watched the damn game.

Well there it is. Another historic winter olympic event in the books. United States ends with a record breaking 37 total medals.

Canada finishes with the most gold medals and the prestigious victory over Team United States ini men's and women's ice hockey to go with it.

Vancouver remains to be the winter olympic event where the most individual nations were able to medal!

There were some tragic accidents, falls, cries, laughter, and historic records being broken and set.

Perhaps, Sunday night was the best way to say good bye from Vancouver.

Comment edited: Perhaps, the guys above were joking?

I may have taken it a bit serious. Sorry guys.

@YouTube vid,

Those guys were crazy. They barely had clothing on, and it was dead cold out there!

Was that Manchuso styling like that? She has a funny personality on camera!

How about that hockey puck magic near the end of the video? :)

Lastly, the man, who did the alpine aerial trick towards the end of the video, spun out like that because he was still rotating. It is like a tennis ball when it "lands" on the tennis court. It spins in or out!

The landing looked good, but he did not have control of the spin (rotation).

Me too! I watched it with RAE on sky sport. His prediction was 4-2 for USA, mine 2-1 Canada.

Hey Pica, what s about Crosby? Is he now a national hero? And did Gretzky any interviews after the final?
The german media were just focused on german athletes like Maria Riesch or Axel Teichmann, they didn t say much about the Hockey final...

I would say the whole team are national heroes now, it's really team effort!
I did not watch any interviews afterwards, I was busy getting drunk. 8)
But I know Toronto went crazy last night...
And I just want to say I admire Ryan Miller more after the game. It's not easy to go out and attend the closing ceremony after a tough loss.

I agree with you Picachu211. Every single team needs to feel no regret with what had happened in Vancouver. This was the most enjoyable winter olympic experience that I have ever had. It motivated me to actually go there and support it.

News flash, I will not be going to Russia though.
