They have cable. Their ISP said they have an agreement with someone to do that - the company that makes the game or something.

i never figured out why they have the view/source mode on computers....i can never figure out the purpose of this...and someone can use your ISP address very easily like Rob was saying especially your neighbors....very very easy

hmmm.....unless they signed a contract or agreed to terms were it clearly states that they are able to disconnect you in the even of them suspecting (they can't prove) you of such activity....they are breaking the law. Not to mention that they really can't do anything just on the grounds of "suspecting". Its a residential connection, that is why they take liberties....be this a business, they would be in deep trouble and can get suit for loses incurred. Its a very shady area.....that is why they doing it, but should they increase such "disconnections" they will run into a few lawsuits and it could blow up into a civil suits or something....sensitive area.

Yes yes, long overdue that suit is. I suggest we also include a provision allowing physical theft as well, we all know how much of a pain it is getting arrested for stealing stereos.
Or in djarvik's case, cucumbers.
