Character erased off ps3.

Postby AUSSIE_FABS » Fri, 12 Feb 2010 07:53

Alright so I was playing a match on wt last night and really had to leave quickly. So I decided to just press ps button and turn off system (yeah I know shouldn't just leave a match like that.

Anyway my favourite character I was using during the match is now gone, but my save file still all there and not corrupt just annoying, because I had a real good 'feel' for the character and he just gone.

So I post this as a warning to not turn off system while in online game and also to see if it happened to anyone else.

I am glad we don't have this issue on Xbox, my Tursunov is 1 1/2 years old.
He has a special place in my heart. If I lose him, I am pretty much done with TS3.

Unfortunately, it does happen on Xbox. I have lost two. You better back-up your Tursunov.

Also the bad thing is I can't remember all his stats even though I've played sooo many games with him. I made to guys similar recently but it wasn't quite right.

Also how much do people dislike people who have 3X90 characters? 85 doesn't count lol.

Also first tourney on 15. Hopefully timezone dif between guys won't make impossible lol. I have school aswell so that is a bit of a bother haha.

You might have some trouble, but this will help:

Check the draw as soon as possible after it is released - if you have it set to receive ITST email, you will be notified when the draw is created.

As soon as you see who your opponent is, contact him. Send him as many different times as you can for when you are available to play.

If you have school, then staying up late to play probably isn't an option, so you may want to consider playing in the morning - that shouldn't happen too often though, since once you are past the 1st round you can schedule to play on the weekends.

Ironically, you are so far of from most people's time zones that it may even make it easier than it is for Europe vs US matches.

The key is to just stay ahead as much as possible.

Atleast it only early in the year so don't have much homework or study. Although definitely don't want to fall behind, considering I'm doing physics, chemistry in year 12 it quite important and I've got nice amount of points from last year doing well and don't want to waste it lol.

Yeah since I'm so far away it may work out. It would work out nicely if I came up against an an american who is at pacific time, and doesn't mind playing playing at 930 at night. For a lot of the europeans I'll prob have to play in morning unless of course they don't have work or school on that day.

Oh I hope I'm not up against the best players in the first round, although still want to play a good player first up. Rather lose and learn something than either destroy someone or be destroyed.
