A Newcomer to ITST

I'm a little slow at understanding the rules, but if i have a custom made pro, I can use that character correct? and obviously being within the 40-90 rule for my attributes.

Or is it strictly custom player, not using current pros?


so simply, can i use my custom Davydenko and Venus in ITST?

As long as you created the character within the 40-90 limits, you can name him/her any thing you like. When the rules say that you may not use a pro from the game, it simply means that you must use a created character.

The rules for SIM are a bit different, so if you wish to play in those tournaments, you need to make sure you understand those rules.

Start with challengers and move up, there are different tours too.
If you have time, you should try them all.
In women's tour, serve and return weigh more than those in men's tour.

Hey fellow American. Welcome to ITST. I do not play on this tour, but I do want you to give the main draw a try. I did this for all the prior tours I played or currently play for.

I think that is the best way to go, and you will see more game-play from top players more often than playing in challengers all the time.

Whether you play only challengers or main tour events (or both), I hope you have a delightful stay at ITST!
