Can I assume that someone has told this player what the new rule is?

We can't really go back and replay the match, for several reasons. Mostly though, Djarvik didn't actually see the stats.

I'm surprised you didn't notice the character's name. That's the first thing I look at in a sim match.

Well Rob isnt it your job to tell "this player" what the "new" rule was before hand??

The rules are on the rules page, a mass email was sent out, it's all over the forum, and it was even on the tournament page. Next to contacting every individual player, I'm not sure what more we could do. But that's why I asked - to see if I do need to contact him to explain the rules.

I'm just surprised the guy made it all the way to the final without someone noticing.

well thats fair enough of course :)

But i also think its fair that the you contact both players who were involved and get both sides.

Hence the title of the thread.

I think that things in PS3 land were so good for the past few month, that a certain trust had been developed. No one checked the stats, simply the name......That is why I got upset, so many matches were played and won with a wrong setup. :?

Rob, he know "now".

Everything is OK now, just sour feelings left.

Rob you should visit each member in person and explain the new rules while you have cookies or whatever
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

cookies and milk! Rob - the Santa Clos!

last time Rob visited me it was wild! ...empty milk cartons everywhere! ... wet cookie crumb balls on the ceiling and white hair all over the floor. Christmas will never be the same.

Like Coolhand said, it could only be one of two guys. To him, I say shame on you. Weak dude, very very weak.

Agree. Rob or Cro, close this one. It is very clear already who, what, why etc...

I think it's enough. Whoever that is (beats me) will understand and hopefully follow the rules from now on.
