If it was TS1 or TS2, I'd say the serve/drop shot was cheesy. But it definitely takes some skill to execute on TS3, and it's also very counterable.

I didnt take stats unfortunately :( All i can say is that both of us had much more winners to unforced errors :)
He used Nakamura and i used Sixx

1st set: He broke immediately, and i thought i was in for a quick defeat. But i then broke back and held to take a 3-1 lead. He then broke back to make it 3-2 He then held and and i held to make it 4-3. I then broke him again, he brokeback again and i broke him to take the set :)

2nd Set: I broke and took a 3-0 lead. We both then each held until i took the set 6-3.

3rd Set: I broke immediately then he broke back again to make it 1-1. He then 4-1 with a break. We then both held to make it 5-2 to him. I held and threatened to break but he closed out hte set 6-3.

4th Set: He raced to a 4-0 lead before i held to make it 4-1. He then broke again and held out for the set 6-1.

5th Set. We both held until the tiebreak with very little chances to break. In the tiebreak, we both held till 2-2 when i got the minie break. I then held both my servie points to take a 5-2 lead in teh breaker. He then held both of his and got the minibreak back. I then held a point on my serve to make it 6-5 to me, match point. I think... He then held and i got a break to make it 7-6 to me. For some reason i think he then broke back and i held one point on my serve. I then converted match point in suitable fashion with a winner.

Final Score - 6-4 6-3 3-6 1-6 7-6 Vieira151 def. Petrelli

I think my 1st serve % was pretty low and i think break chances will be pretty high. I though it was a great match with awesome baseline rallies and clever serving from both us during the final set to prevent further breaks.

Hate to keep repeating this tired record, but dropshots and short slices are gay. There's nothing more lame than crushing a FH or BH only to have your opponent "counter" it w/ a dropshot or slice that barely goes over the net. Utterly ridiculous. The day I use these shots is the day I chop my own balls off, eat them and retire from the tour.

ok.here i am to speak about my lost...

me(nakamura)-vieira151(sixx):46 36 63 61 67(5)
we make each other a surprise with the chose of players.
I expected he used house and he expected i used bucci.
I decided to use nakamura because I tried him in the last days and I noticed that suit my game better than bucci.most of all because he has fh62 against fh58 of bucci that helps me to make more winner.I gave up to stamina because I know that noone use high stamina so 65st could be enough :!:

1rst set:we broke eachother a lot of times!at first game I broke him suddenly.but then he broke me twice consecutive.he lead 4-1
the we both held our serve till 5-2.on his serve he had 1set point but i saved it and I broke him again.on 5-4 had new set point.I saved it again.I had the chance to breake him but I didn't convert my bp.at the end he closed the set 64.
2nd set:he broke me in the first game then we both held easily our serve till 63.
this set was the opposite of the 1rst one.without breakpoints.

I was really nervous.I was playing very bad.nothing was working on my game.
he dominated really.I tried to hit on his bh(61) and not on his fh(90) but he had no problem.he did some mistake but he did many winners too...he surprised me because he returned very well my serve with only 53re...

3rd set:i began to serve and he broke me  I thought I'd lose.so I decided to risk everything...return,during rallies..and that's worked..I began to play better and he made many mistakes.I broke him twice(i think) and I won 63
4rt set:I won easily 61.his stamina become red and I toke the leadership of match.
I was calm ...
5ft set:we held easily our serve.we had each other only 1bp but we didn't covert them.this set wasn't really good.We were so tired and nervous.
he really surprised me because changed completely his game from 3rd and 4rth set...
tiebreakI made a doublefaultslike like a stupid newbie(i made only 2df!!!)
:stupd
he held this minibreak till 53.then I made a return winner.54 for him.on my serve he broke me again once.he had mp on his serve and he converted it suddenly.

usually who is down 2-0 and win 3rd and 4rth,win the match,but tha's didn't happen this time:( :( :(

don't know what to think about this match...I'm very sad :(
really congrats to vieira that played really good.
it was an intense and awesome match.
In this beginning of the year I lost too many close match...
I think I need to stop for a while...I can't lose every close match.I lose too many tiebreaks...

You should play Coke on PS3  He can hit it all day with no fail after every serve!

But yes, you can counter it....it ain't easy thou, as if you don't do enough you are nowhere and getting killed.

BTW - had a math with Marlenbrendo and won in 3, 6-4 4-6 6-2. He did try the drop shot thing....but I happened to use Sixx and it played to my advantage as he was inviting my 88 speed forward and to net where my 79 volley felt beyond comfortable. Needless to say he abandon it till 3rd set, where that was just a desperation play and not goto play. I was 5.1 up with a few BPs on his serve.

He is a very good player...I am very happy to have figure him out, I need it in upcoming tourneys as my form is slipping away from me.

Alex is next....just can't keep up with him yet, I feel it is a brain battle every-time we play  he is trying to figure me out and I try to figure him out.....his game plan is superb and execution is top notch....very hard to get him to second guess himself. I am working on it thou

Wow Viera things are looking up for you on the SIM tour, a win and not by walkover  Seriously though you are a way better player than your record suggests, hopefully you can string a few together.

I barely missed a double risked shot the first 2 sets

He then made me hit much more difficult shots cause his returns were awesome in teh 3rd and 4th set. In the 5th, i just mixed it up with volleying and angle cross court shots
