2010 TS3 Sim - List Updates

We have made some changes to 4 of the characters from the list, and have also added 2 more.

The characters who have been adjusted are:

J. Lopez, W. Bishop, G. House, and B. Cannon.

It became clear that these four players had an advantage over the other players from the list, so they were adjusted to make the selection of players more evenly balanced.

The players who have been added are:

F. Burns and B. Rogers.

These were added to give more variety to the list, and to fill 2 voids that were missing from the previous roster - a faster serve and volley player, and a high stamina/high speed baseliner.

We now have a total of 18 players for the roster, and there should be no more changes for the 2010 season. The new list can be found here > CLICK

Note: Please continue to use the previous list for the ITST Open. The new list takes effect for the first tournaments of the 2010 season.

Wanted to add, that we also added the 2 players cause there are a lot of taller players. Which is correct as it's no different in the ATP.
But there were just a little too many.

The 3 we modified a bit were too strong compared to the other players setup wise.
And many people were just playing with those characters.
Hopefully this will make people also use the other characters more.

And as Rob said make things more balanced.

You can. But starting from the first tournament in 2010 the new House is the one to use.

That's for all the players in the list.

Thats cool but the tournament sign ups started on monday? I guess a few folk are going to have to withdraw or can they change characters each round?

I wonder how many people will jump on N.Rogers wagon....and then fall off :lol:

He is VERY hard to play with. But in the right hands (Pica, Xavi etc) he will be your worst nightmare. You will be amazed at what they can do with him, but never being able to replicate :lol:

Should be really fun!

F.Burns adds a very competent, fast SV player that can stay back because of the speed and BH. I believe it is even possible to use this guy as a Part Time SV player.

The other adjustments were necessary and were thought out carefully, to maintain integrity and the original setup of each player.

W.Bishop receives a boost in volley for a little sacrifice in power. With his 90 and 72 strokes, power plays less of a role......but now, he is a very capable vollier as well and because of lower power has more time to get there.

J.Lopez receives a yellow Volley for a little Power sacrifice. Now he can play SV game part time in addition to being a very dangerous baseliner.

G.House also receives a Volley boost making him more of an all court player now. It should be much easier to handle the weaker side and finish at the net.

B.Canon remained largely unchanged. We felt we needed to give Cannon better volley skills without sacrificing the main weapons. I think we accomplished that. You can now throw in an occasional SV play.

I think we did good on these.

I've only played with house, so I guess I need to rush the net more now.

Not sure If I'll continue to use him though, his forehand is pretty weak. I played a couple of matches vs Anil and he hit most of his shots to my forehand. He noticed pretty quickly that I didn't have any *OMPH!!* on that side. :lol:

LOL, I am sorry lol.

I have to say I lvoe that weaker side playing. But I get carried away sometimes and forget to play the easy way.
