Pocho and Tomo attempted to play on several occasions, but their connection failed. The match was ultimately decided by an automated coin-toss. Typically this results in a "walkover," however, per the rules of the ATP as they pertain to the World Tour Finals, a walkover is entered as a straight sets loss.

What is happening with all three YEC? It's going to be 2010 soon and I'm not even sure if any finalists have been confirmed yet?

wooohoooo! I am into the finals!!!!

Coke is a great opponent! Even thou we had some connections issues, the match was very intense. His serves were great and anticipation was superb.
It was really a matter of a few points in the tie breaks.

We both held comfortably for the most part, pushing each other a few times here and there.

I'd just like to say Im happy that my 23, i think, match winning streak was just ended by a player as clean and as good as djarvik, i saw the master at work.

his shot makind ability and defence were amazing, there was 1 point at 30 all on his serve in the 2nd set that remain in my head, we got into a nice rally in which i had gained the upper hand, i had an easy shot from no mans land, he was the the other side of the court, i smack an accurate and powerful FH down the line, he manages not to only get it but to hit it back crosscourt and wonderfully with angle, i only just got it back and he smacked it away, thats when i realised i was going to lose

Finals are set. Djarivk v. Pocho. I just lost 6-7, 6-7. We both had chances to break throughout but never converted. Serving was good on both sides.

Both tiebreaks came down to a few risk returns and Pocho obviously came up w/ all of them. Good luck in the finals my friend.

DJ, have fun w/ perfect dropshots hit off of 100mph groundstrokes.

Well its over guys! I got it! 8)

Djarvik runs over Pocho 7-6 6.3

1st Set was tight for the most part. We each held serve with ease, not making much impression on returns game. Pocho is an excellent server, very hard to read and he follows up most serves with well placed shots (slices). Mid way thru, I knew that I cannot simply let him slice me away.....I need to place my returns better. I also noticed a few interesting tendencies in Pocho's serving. Made a mental note. Comes tiebreak and I unleash what I have planed, what I have noticed. 6-0 I am up and serving for it! Sloppy first serve and Pocho puts away the second serve 6-1. I then serve it out. 7-1

2nd set there was no reason to hold back and hold back I didn't. Quickly jumping to 3-0 30:40 on Pocho serve I was looking at 4-0, possibly 5-0. Made a silly error and Pocho railed back to 3-1. 4-1 Pocho serving, again I have the last of my 3 BPs and go for the return winner, I miss it. One last attempt by Pocho at 5-3 me serving for the title came short, he got to 30 and I closed the door.

All in all I felt very comfortable during rallies and even more comfortable on my serve....it was a matter of time till the return game followed.

Congrats to Pocho on his run at WTF! I was one foot out of the tournament and now I hold the trophy
