what the hell is this '"recovery" you speak of???? you can play more than one set these days? i'm one and done man. and my first serve definitely isn't as deep and penetrating as it used to be. damn it, hate aging.

Yeah, sometimes I hope for rain delays to bail me out.

I just keep saying to my self: "You only as good as your first serve."

Djarvik loses to TOMO 5-7 4-6

Well it was the usual Tomo match. I can't return any serves because of the weird lag that has my player falling over on each return. I won most rallies that did started, but lost every point on Tomo's serve....and I do mean EVERY POINT. Actually, sorry, I won 3 of them, the first 3 actually. He made 99% of his first serves and won 91% first and 100% of second and ended up with 17 aces and countless put always of my "well placed" floaters.

I got a rude reminder why I left the 40-90. In the first game of the match, somehow I got to 0-40 (mostly errors by Tomo) but a well placed 3 serves followed by 3 short risk slices took that away.

I am sorry Tomo, not here to bash you, you are nice guy...but that was kinda.... hmmm....unimpressive. Considering that the only return I could make was the fall over floater.

I don't care how nice the person is (and Tomo is very cool dude) but Lag+6'9 player+short slices=not what I play the game for, it is just boring, in order not to offend anyone, I rather not play.

A bit frustrated that's all, Rant over. I'll stick to SIM from now on, save my nerves.

Congrats Tomo on the win and good luck in the next RR.

On another note, Pocho is no where to be found. If he doesn't show up by the end of the weekend I say we let the Sub come in. What do you say?

Just played pocho and i lost 6 7 4 6 . Pocho was playing great but i wasn't.. i double faulted a couple of times, losing easy crucial points and pocho punished me as expected.

Its a month now i am really down on the topspin game. I can't bring my game on the court and i know i can do better. Anyway just saying my thoughts outloud now :)

Good game from pocho
