Just beat kiensabeq 6-2 6-4 in a Cannon vs Cannon match ! My first ITST win so it's pretty exciting for me.

The match I think was mainly decided on my First serve % which was 89 to his 80 and he made 12 unforced errors to my 5. He had quite a few chances to break he was up 0-40 while I was serving 4-3 up. But I was able to hit some good fast serves and that really made a difference in the end.

yeah, Bashmakov is lightning fast 8)

BTW - I was not looking for only top players to register their SIMs. I think it is just better if you know who you are playing in advance, which character I mean.

Isnt he really slow... :?

That was a joke man

i lost yesterday 3-6 7-6 6-7, to bashmakov. 100% 1st serve percent over all 3 sets meant i got a abysmal amount of decent returns back, his power made me shank so many groundstrokes and i dont like to speak ill of other players but had to deal with a couple of risk slice and risk slice returns that were tricky. in the 3rd set i was starting to get a little better return rhythm, then we disconnected, so stamina etc reset. but i should still have done more in the final tiebreak, so cest la vie.

Not give ideas to some people  but weather conditions are now more important then ever. If you are using a high stamina player, keep in mind, there is always a chance of rain, even in indoor courts.

Report to weather authorities if you suspect that rain was caused by a hiring of a shaman by your opposition. The use of dark magic is strictly prohibited on ITST grounds.

True, shamanism has been a plague of tennis since the days of william renshaw. i thought it was eliminated, but maybe not (yes im talking henman wimbledon 2001 semi final) :)

it was a very intense match, i was surprised, because i thought that Villa would play serve and volley, but he didn´t, and i had to use risk return because if i didn´t use it the point was him ,he saved 3 break points in the second set with 5-5, and he won tie break easy, then with 1-0 I had a problem with the electricity, sorry, i know is a shit when you had to restart a match, It is possible that the disconnection was benefiting me, but bashmakov has 69 stamina and lopez has 69 too, it might have won anyone, but bashmakov is like roddick, his serve save me.

true your serving was off the scale. i couldnt serve and volley lopez's serve is just quite not strong enough consistently, and i dodnt wanna risk it against the power, i decided to try and pull you about the court but only had some success with that. it wasnt so much stamina rather i was at last starting to connect with some of your serves and then the electric went. but yeah i still had chances to win. the backhand i hit at 0-40 down with 3 break points for you at 5-5 was probably one of the best shots ive ever hit.

just lost 1st rd of sim open to andymachine
6-7

I dont get it, where is the fun in a match the consists of serve risk slice, serve risk slice and so on and so forth, every single return is a risk slice or powershot.....I try to deal with the many risk happy players and the risk slice happy players but its a bit to much. I love tennis, I enjoy rallies strategy, setting up points, finishing at the net.....but where does a mean hard slice return winner off of a 100+mph serve fit in. Or how about instead of serving and volley...you just serve and risk slice on the baseline for a winner. Or during exchanges of hard groundstrokes u throw in a hard low slice that travels at the same speed Why must we throw all gamesmanship out of the window just for a win? At any rate, I have obviously worn my welcome here. Peace out. Good match you played your shots well.
