I'm happy to report that my connection issues have been fixed so I'm ready for action again :D
In my first match back, I played a sim match against Aniltje which he won 6-3 4-6 7-6. We were both using Sixx but I had 90 on my backhand while he had the 90 on his forehand. As the scoreline would suggest, it was a thrilling match and very mentally exhausting  Unfortunately, I threw away quite a few leads with leading 2-0 in the first set, 4-1 in the second set (though I managed to break again to claim the set at 5-4) and I had 2 match points leading 5-4 in the final set which Anil saved. I also went up 4-2 in the final set tiebreak but Anil was too good from that point on and went on to seal the win. It was a great match though. There were plenty of momentum shifts and when both our stamina was drained towards the end, it really came down to who was brave enough and better at executing the risk shots when it really mattered.
I like Sixx but I'm not convinced he is the player best suited to me yet. I need more matches against powerful set ups

Striker.....great game emate...glad to see you back in action you are a force to be reckoned with

Yeah, that was pretty intense at certain points. I think we were collectively 0-8 or 0-9 on break points? Don't think I've ever been involved in a break free match.

fedfan wrote:Coke beat me 64 64 as Tompson, me as Lorenz. First set he really surprised me with his pace, his speed and anticipation meant he was behind the ball all the time and dominating. He had break points for 5-0 but I began to play better and clawed back to an acceptable 6-4.

He broke me to 15 first game of the 2nd and then the match got a bit laggy and he served out 6-4.

Unless you choose a big server or power player, as I sometimes do with Cannon, holding serve is much tougher. All the matches I have played so far have had a lot of momentum changes.

New sim has definately reignited my interest, I haven't even played MWII for more than a week.

Yea was a fun match, i thought i had the bagle at 4-0 and break points, but then next thing i know its 4-3 and pressure's back on.

Yea i think Tompson suits me, i am able to generate power when i need to, have a good serve, is fast and god at net so im happy 8)

i know....it was insane....i could not break your serve to save my life....and there were multiple occassions that i was up 15-40 on your serve or 30-40--i think there was even a 0-40 and i couldnt pull it out....you play great with striker

I have just played a match with coke4.
me(Bucci)-coke4(thompson)
I don't know  but I won 6-3 1-6 7-6

1rst set I broke him on 3-2 for me.then I had no prob to hold my serve.but I felt he wasn't playing his tennis, and in fact,in2nd set he destroyed me 6-1.I thought was over for me.instead
3rd set has been fighted.we both had some opportunities to break but without success.on 4-4 and 5-5 on my serve the score was 0-40 but he didn't convert bp.on tie break I missed 1mp before win.

After this match I understood what the host and djarvik said about sim:the sim setup are balanced because eachplayer is good against some player and bad against anotherone.
for example I played with bishop against coke-thompson and i lost easily.

I don't think I will beat again coke because today he didn't play his best tennis, but I noticed I've been more competitive with bucci than with bishop.

btw bucci is a good setup even if many of us understimate( :?: )him

oh yes....i played crossers in a quick match he used Bucci and i used my Nakamura---i believe the first set was 4-3 his 58 backhand was outstanding and his returns were amazing....the 2nd set i believe it went to another tiebreaker....i really had to risk a lot or he was going to blow me off the court....GREAT GAME CROSSERS Nakamura(CHEDERER) d. Bucci(Crossers) 4-3 4-3

Yes fun match. I think my defence was excellent all match, but i struggled to generate power. In 1st u destroyed me, 2nd i upped my game a bit but ur level dropped. In 3rd i played well, except for b/p(2 0-40 and a 15-40)

F. Bucci is a very strong player...in order to win against him with a lower power player you have to risk with consistency

Beat Petrelli83 6-4 5-7 6-3 I was Cannon he was Bucci. There were quite a few breaks, I was surprised that Petrelli was able to return as well as he was seeing as Bucci doesn't have a great power or return stat. Overall it was quite a fun match for me but apparently he had allot of lag. Living in the UAE sucks!! The UAE has only one ISP and it has the slowest internet speed ever plus the fact it's very far from where most of you guys live.

played djarvik last night---on clay...i was bishop and he was house....lots of rallies and tons of risking by me especially....both sets went to a tie break....7-6 and 7-6 house(djarvik) d. bishop(CHEDERER)my returns felt crappy with bishop even though he has 81 on return...it could be his 66 on power....now im to believe that power helps on returns....and bishop feels very small on the court.....anyways i ended up wth 47 winners to 42UE and djarvik had 24 winners and 25UE---he won a total of 100 points to my 96 points....i really like bishop but i wish he was either taller or had more power or even more speed...but then he would be unstoppable  good game AL---weird thing is..i felt i could hold my serve better with Bishop opposed to nakamura...i have troubles holding serve with nakamura, but my returns are on steroids with nakamura and his 90 return...

Thanks man. Was a great match. Not as much quality as our previous encounter, but very intense. It is important to add that you were 0/8 on break points  so yeah Bishop's return may not be as devastating or imposing as Nakamuras, but it gets the job done by consistently returning serves and placing them deep. Honestly, if you would made a few more risks and committed a few less errors you would close the match in 6-4 6-4. I could have played better as well, I felt at times I was too defensive for my 80 power, trying to mess with your timing.....it worked, but a lot of times I failed to convert and simply pushed the ball after getting an upper hand in a rally.

I agree with you, if Bioshop's power was above 70 - he would be literally unstoppable in the right hands.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...
