Considering Im using my defensive baseliner, not a powerful baseliner, i dont expect myself to get to the Semi Finals, but I hope i can manage a win

Just lost to TOMO 6-4 6-3, he used a 89/79/69 charcater, i used my defensive baseliner. I felt overpowered from the back of the court, and whenever i started to make him feel uncomftorable through defence, he could come up with short slices.
1ST Set I opened serving and he opened up a 15-40 lead, i saved them for duece, he got a further 3 b.p, which i saved, but he broke me on the 6th b.p. The rest of the set continued on serve, he won 100% of service points, i had to fight for every game.
2nd Set We both held easily until 2-3 on his serve when i opened up a 15-40, but he saved them with service winners and held. He then opened up 15-40 on my serve i saved them, but he broke on his 2nd b.p after duece. H ethen held to 30 and opened up a 15-40 lead on my serve with a short slice off my top spin shot on the baseline. I saved the first, but he took the 2nd with a good return.

Not too confident then

I got hammered 2&1 by Baxxter. I only just snook in to the last 8 so I wasn't expecting much, but he didn't miss a serve and he outclassed me in every department hitting more than 3 times as many winners.

Well played.

I'm in a rush to finish the season, just lost to alex 3&4. His defense forced me to take silly risks meaning 20 plus errors or so. Josenylund let me know if you want to put me out of my misery later.

Yea you pretty much UE'd your way out, though on another day they could have been winners. Still, some long rallies and nice points.

coke4 def. the_cooler 6-2 6-4 A really fun match with lots of great rallies, (around every point was a really long, high quality rally!) and great winners. It was much closer than the scoreline shows, and it was really decided on a few points.

1st SetI opened up a 15-30 lead on his serve, but he played well and got it to 40-30, i brought it duece and managed to break him on my 2nd break point for 1-0. I then held comfortably for 2-0. He held a tight service game next and i held easily again for 3-1. Then he had a slightly easier service game and held for 2-3, then on my service game he opened up a 0-40 lead, i saved the first with a smash, another with an service winner and another with a winner, i then went on to hold. He was then dishartened and lost concentration and i broke him to love and then easliy served it out for 6-2.
2nd SetI got 30-40 on his first service game, he saved it but i got another break point and i managed to break and then hold for a 2-0 lead. The rest of the games were close, but with me holding more comfortably than him, i even gained a b.p, which he saved. At 5-4 with me serving for the match he challenged me, and got 0-15 then 15-30, but i managed to level it at 30-30, then hit a good serve and then take my 1st match point to take it 6-2 6-4.

STATS
coke4 | the_cooler
93% 1st serve % 71%
73& won on 1st serve 59%
100% won on 2nd serve 53%
2 aces 0
0 double faults 0
27 winners 31
3 unforced errors 14
3/6 break points 0/3
63 total points 46

I'd like to add that this was one of my best sim performances, my defensive play worked and i feel i made the cooler give away points and i fought back into points thanks to my speed. I also found my character to be better than normal off the back of the court, with me generating alot more power. I also served very well

TOMO reminds me of a young Federer when he first burst on the scene and started to dominate. Winning easily, but because of the language barrier, his interviews were always priceless. Rog's english has gotten so much better as the years have gone by.

Similar to TOMO. Nice guy, NICER player. I can't wait to get my *** kicked by him again. :-)

Just had a great match with josenylund, i lost 6-4 6-7 4-6.

Thought I had it under control, and then the 2nd set tiebreak things got messy. 1st serve died, and stayed dead all 3rd set. There were many break points, most on my serve that i saved until at 4-4 30-40 he returned winner. I had a chance to break back but he saved and served out.

its one of those matches you're not dissapointed to lose, cause awesome (video game) tennis was played 8)

Just lost to Josenylund with my "weaker" one handed backhand SIM player 6-2 4-6 7-6.

It was a laggy match to be honest but after the first set where I lost serve twice I wasn't to bothered and just wanted the match to finish as I couldn't time my backhand at all. Then from nowhere I broke in the third game and held serve for the set.

The final set there were no breaks at all, although finally he missed a first serve, but in the tiebreak I missed a half chance after a good return at 6-6 and he got the only mini-break to eventually take it 9-7.

Maybe I should have persevered with this character in my other matches and things may have been better for me but what the hey, it's all change next season anyway.
