Well Gunz..To tell you the truth i didn(t foud our match that fun... :( Hope you won't take it bad...It's just that i'm not found of the "Serve-Hit-Fault/Winner" kind of match we had...It's true that we manage to both hold our serves nicely but it was quite quickly boring to me...No offense man...
I really enjoy more playing with that Sim set up cause i can manage to play some rallies and, wether i win or loose,it's always some fun!
I don't think i'll play a lot of 90-40 set up again (except for Gran Slams...)

Yeah that kind of thing is not fun, I just had one of those matches myself, no rallies, very boring...

Ah sorry you felt that way lad. I certainly didnt see it like that, I guess our gamestyles and preferences just dont match like. The thing is though, if i expect to do well on this 90-40 tour and even contend with anyone in the Top 50 I have to play this high risk kind of game I employed against your player to get any sort of dividends in terms of a getting a break, as Im reasonably confident that I can hold serve usually (although Setheleh tonight, will prove that my theory is severely flawed :? ). I do enjoy playing no risk full of rallies though, but returning in Topspin 3 I find most effective by varying returns with LT and RT, and really having a hit or miss kind of approach as Im definitely not skilled enough to return normally.

I think the 90 tour would be successful idf everyone had a max of 70 power. 90 on groundstrokes gets plenty of power and spin, and the points saved on power could be used on speed, stamina, thereby creating rallies 8)

Played 'Mitro222', UGH.

6'9, stacked giant character with a humongous, 145 mph serve that he never missed...I had about 5 break points but he hit aces every single time to save them....I was in every single service game of his but I just could NOT break him, which is even more frustrating considering that I won about 3 or 4 of my service games AT LOVE, with him barely even touching the ball, even though I was serving a good 20-25 mph slower than him :x  I lost 6-7 (5). Anyways ,fair player and all that, just really really insanely dull to play against.

Well, good luck, you are probably going to need some on his service games. I think his character had something like 50 (!) in speed, which I doubt he'd use in an ITST tournament, but who knows. I couldn't figure out any way to exploit his complete lack of speed. When we were actually in a rally, I felt completely comfortable and could even just simply wait for him to miss and not feel any pressure that he was going to hit a winner out of nowhere or something like that... but the trick is actually getting in a rally.

I assume you played his "non-ITST" character. With 100 power and serve or something like that?

Yeah I hear he has a massive serve. Exploiting his lack of speed can only be done anyway once youre in a rally, I think more than half the battle is won if you return his serve effectively, which I hope I can do. I sense a lot of tiebreaks however, which only does really come down to a few points.

*A thought just occured to me while I'm sitting here bored at work, Mitro could very well be the next John Isner of ITST

He's definitely not a fun guy to lose to. I was left kind of scratching my head after the match, wondering how I could not give him ANY break point chances, yet still lose :? Very frustrating.
