It's the magical S and V combo, nobody knows why those three numbers work so well but they do.

Haha. You deserve that Rob. Wear the Pete Sampras cap, shall you?!

I think we should have a serve and volley exhibiton on itst. 90/40 stats, but to compete u need a minimum of 85 of volley :D :D 8)

Tha´s a great idea.
One question, is guess the speed is really important if you want to reach the net after the serve, am i wrong?. I´m saying this because i hardly see a difference between having 50 or 80 on speed.

I think that's a good idea.
I'm not a pure serve and volley player.but I like to play volley during the rally.
85 volley it's ok.
and I'd say power max 70-75

If I get the honour to be titled "diehard S&V-player" by the master himself how can i refuse to join the club? ;)

Good initiative btw, there aren't that many around to engage in S&V-play on the tour, it's just not effective enough I guess, which would actually reflect the development in real life professional tennis.

I've played S&V since I bought the game almost a year ago. I've always found the baseline gameplay to be rather stiff and unnatural whereas the volley ditto is the best in any tennis game so far.

Gonna try to play with my new Rafter-character on tour to see if things work out better :)

One prerequisite to join the club should be to have worn out at least one rb (name proposal: rush button) button on your controller completely ;)

I've broken a few controllers after sucking, does that count?

I need to get a handle on that, to be honest. I'm not gonna have any controllers left, soon. I commited felonious assault on my controller 2 nights ago, in a UFC-loss induced rage. I ground-and-pounded my controller into submission against my egg chair, it was not pretty...

 2. I hate losing :D

I put 3 at first, but I was wrong. I've only destroyed 2 controllers. I've thrown many more than that though, without destroying them.

I would never dream of breaking my Xbox or my television, just the controllers...- I consider almost 4 years of online competition with only 2 broken controllers a fairly good record  I think playing VT3 cheaters really drove me over the edge as far as frustration goes- after that, I stopped playing any online matches at all, for quite a long time. It's only with TS3 that I've started to play online matches again.

You can actually make money if you have an insurance policy or policies that overs your console and equipment.

So, it may not be a bad idea after all, with insurance coverage.

Yet, for any other reason, I think it is silly to do that. Hehe.

SAME BY me in ts2 .
this droplob - lag cheaters bring me to stopp playing rankmatches for a while( also this was my first contact with hamburgerboy) :this cheaters bring me to hate . i was 1000 times short before to do something what i had to regret behind. like smashing the controller in tv.this ts2 cheaters coast me 1000000000 nerve cells in my brain.
but i m happy that i never destroyed a tv or controller
