Either way:

Brazil was the better team. The US team was lucky to even be in the SF, but they proved their worth against top ranked Spain. When I tuned in midway through the first half, I tried to adjust my antennae, because things seemed WRONG. Turns out, the problem was not with my antennae (I don't have one

) but with the score.
I was ecstatic that the 14th ranked US SOCCER team could have a lead on Brazil's FUTBOL team going into halftime.

But then, reality set in. Yes, Brazil won. And they should have won 4-2 (that ball was totally inside the post, I saw it too).

But when the favorite wins, they're not supposed to flaunt it in everyone's face. "WE WON, **** YOU WORLD, BYE BYE USA!!"

Yea, you were supposed to win but it was a close match... What's with the (apparently) derogatory

I think the fact that United States was in the finals speaks volume. Of course, Brazil is better strategically than United States.

I just wanted the U.S.A. to win as the unlikely of the cup. I always root for the underdogs.
