Yes. DMT needs an over-haul with the challenger feature. If the ball is good, I give the player the point.

It will be even better if you can challenge it though. LOL.

Just because they do something in the real-life version, does NOT mean that it will or should translate to a video game. What's next, then? Bathroom breaks? Getting married and losing half your stats???

What does married have to do with losing half of your stats?

Whenever a player gets married, it's usually the beginning of the end. That, and without your own balls (which your wife is now in possession of), you're definitely gonna lose some power at the very least

oh yeah. its crucial to hit with you're own balls, so to speak.

Anyway, i would like to see more variation between court surfaces. I think TS3 is a damn good tennis simulator, and it only falls down on a few points, like the CAP you can total up the good stats, but, a pro vs pro game is pretty equal.

You wouldn't mind somebody challenging every single line call, just to piss you off? Really? Because I'm sure that would happen.

No not at all, gives me time for a bathroom break

Yeah, and as soon as you leave the room, they'll press 'A' to skip the animation. Then, while you're in the jon, they be acing you.

Haha. It will actually teach you to go to the bathroom quicker or else get the book (violation and perhaps fines after repeated warnings).

i actually though the challenge system in Smash Court Tennis 3 was quite good, its just that some of the calls were miles off, but im sure that could easily be refined. In that game you could also choose how many challenges you got a match

Like Rob and I have said already though, A COMPUTER DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES, it knows if the ball is going out at the very milisecond that it hits your racquet- to include a challenge system in the game would mean the computer is intentionally making bad calls. I cannot over-emphasize how insanely retarded this would be. Horrible idea...terrible...could tear families/friends apart....please, stop the madness

thast what i said, some of the calls were so obviously bad you could challenge and win the challenge cause it was miles in or out in SCT3

the other thing is, in TS3, the balls rarely go that close to the lines anyway, so if TS4 used the same shot mechanics, there would only be a select chances to use the challenge, or for the computer to make a correct bad call.... mostly on serves it would be used.

There are some shots in DMT which when you hit them you feel they are going in, and it looks in(the mark) but they are called out, in which youy desperately want to challenge

That's a good point.

It would be nice if they released the game and didn't immediately let it lapse into 'abandonware' status.
