Played Brgrflipr in a exhibition, was a good match i was my sv'er, and the 1st set came down to a very close tiebreak being quite serve dominated, i lost this i think 7-5, and the stats showed only 1 or 2 point in the whole set. Next set i got broke early, but had chances to break back, but ultimately brgerflipr was too consistent from the baseline against my 60 BH and 75 FH and held. final score 6-7, 3-6.

Let me also add that VillaJ100's volleying was spectacular. This game is obviously not designed for volleying, but he's found a way to make it work.

thanks man. i rarely miss them because i don't really use the risk volley, i only do to kill a ball that just won't die or get any power or angle on it. I think the games pretty realistic in that its difficult to SV well because it is in real life these days. The courts are relatively slow, the players return too well, and you can get way too much power from the baseline, just like in TS3 lol. You hit some good volleys yourself though. I think SV is a bit of a 'luring' strategy, if the other player sees you having a lot of success with it they start trying to do it as well, but usually they have a low volley stat and you can get the break haha.

Just beat Brgerflippr1223 4-6 6-4 6-3.

I'm weel chuffed as he was the first person I played when joining ITST at the end of March and he thumped me 6-1 6-2 so I hope it shows I am improving.

Hey everyone. I'm a newbie here though I've been reading the posts for a few days now. I was able to schedule a match with the great djarvik. I've contacted him through PM and asked him some tips regarding the game, to which he has been very helpful. Eventually I was able to ask him for a match.

So after several pm's, scheduling considerations and play freezes (it happened 4 times!) , we finally got to our match. As expected, djarvik won 7-6, 6-3. Here are the stats.

I had three breakpoints, all in one single game, and he was 0-40 down. Needless to say, he saved all of em, and I did not have much of a look on his serve since. For the most part of the match though, I was just hanging on to dear life

Anyways, I would like to thank djarvik for the match. I'll play "better" next time I promise
