I'd like to see either Kei Nishikori, Nicholas Alamgro or Philip Kohlschreiber. Didn't wan to be to obvious with my choices there.

sorry, i don't mean to hurt you, but i was being a bit ironical saying your Del Potro was spot on, that nose !
the other pictures you send mmm, i would say big roger is a lot closer to tommy robredo if you change the haircut, you might get a good one !
I was looking at your daydenko saying he reminds me of someone, and yes, he looks quite a like Fox Mulder (X Files) again change the haircut and eye color

the first one is actually closer to a wawrinka (with almond shaped eyes ?).

keep up trying anyways, practice makes perfect

cheers,

We have to give him credit for trying, and it is not easy to take your creation and put it up for critiques, as you are doing very nicely Vil.

I think it is nice what he is doing, and he takes the opinions of others very nicely.

sure thing ! i did not mean to be rude or anything, and if he wants some tips, or anybody on the forum, i'll be happy to give some.

I'll definitely try to make a Sampras, sorry for Fedfan, i had a look at almagro and nishikori and kohlschreiber (i know them all), i'd rather try and make a Sampras but i will never be able to do his big ears

If in the process i nail another pro player, you might get suprised by the end result...

see you

Nah nah mate. You were cool. Sorry if you read my post wrongly. You are cool and he is too.

You both are making characters and posting here. I admire that. On with the critiques, shall we?! :P

hi,

we just made a Sampras vs Sampras duel.
First things off, 7-6 6-3 for Rob, who is indeed an excellent server/volleyer like Sampras. I managed to land very few winning returns or passing, also because i had to give the serve the points i usually give the return, which does not really help countering a master volleyer. Nice game, with some very nice rallies.
I should not have given you the break in the seventh game since i was kinda controlling my service games until now, but hey, shit happens
All in all lag free, which was a surprise to me except on rare occurences where, on the first serve point of rob, i never saw the serve motion and surrendered the point every time (happened twice)

Regarding the characters, sorry i can't send you a picture right now but i will today, so let's say we had time to look closely and i realize testing the character i might have done a few things wrong :
- skin tone a bit yellow
- face could / should have been more baby like in the complexion
- player a bit too skiny
other than that, fairly happy with it, looks better with sweat on

I really like rob's, it's actually better in motion than on the picture, body proportions are good (muscular sampras but not bodybuilded), skin tone and face are ok (i think i'll try the beard i had also put in the first which will soften the edges of the face).
I think the swings are more or less the same, i did not pay real attention (rather pay attention to the serve itself  )

I am overall happy with mine, but each in their different way look at least as good i think, i'd say rob was better if he did not have such a generic nose (i know how sampras's nose is almost impossible to do in the editor but...)
Now i'll let rob say what he thinks of mine and the match, so...
