I think he will cry if he loses only if he had a chance to win in the match. If Soderling just plays out of his mind he will just say too good.

If he wins he will definately cry, and why not when he will be realising his lifetimes dream to be definitively one of the greatest of all time.

Plus Andre is presenting and Roger has always appreciated the history of the game, I remember him crying when Laver presented one of his Australian Open trophies.

If he wins i think he will be for sure the leading candidate for being the GOAT, compared with guys like Ali, Jordan, Gretzky and those guys.

True. I think If he win this years FO Wimby and USO he'l have a good chance of retiring. He'l have a family and nothing more to prove/achieve, except maybe a olympic gold

Yeah, Fed will cry, win or lose.

He will also cry 2 times during wimbledon...

When he wins/loses the final and when mirka has the baby in the stands, and it tumbles and falls down the steps

But he is also close to Sampras' 7 Wimbledon titles. Why not go for that too? And I'm sure he wants that Olympic gold, and 2012 will be at Wimbledon, so....

Well said Rob. There is always room for more. I mean, he is reaching finals without playing at his peak. That is really scary! :)

I've seen lots of sporting greats cry. Gretzky, Jordan, s**t, I bet even Mike Tyson's cried at least once after a great win.

I never really thought it was that big of a deal that Federer cried at the AO. It obviously meant a LOT to him. Nobody else on tour besides maybe Rafa has history constantly weighing on their shoulders.

But the fact is he still seems to love tennis. I don't think he is at that stage yet where the only reason he is playing is to set records, but having a family can always quickly change things.
