You don't find that when 2 players play with the same exact setup similar? ...ok they look different, but their stats is exactly the same We have that now, with 90-40 rule.

I love you volleys, you know that! ....but now one will come to the NET because they are forced to have 50 there, they will still choose to stay behind, as 50 becomes not an asset, but the same quality that everyone has.

@Djarvik - i disgree, i think alot of players will decide that if they are forced to play with 50 on volley they might aswell use it, also i feel many players are volleying better now with 40. The only reason i started to volley was that i was like hell if i gotta have 40 on volley i might aswell use it, also lower groundstroke stats it will be harder to finsh off points so more people will go to net.

i guess you are right djarvik---but that then leaves having roddick a 73 overall then some people would use murray with 70 overall? then it wouldnt be even....i dont think a single person would use murray with his 60 something on power

Yeah, but you don't feel the same way when you play someone with the exact stats as you do have? You have a point, I am just trying to point out that looks are not everything, people can play a completely different game with the same player.

I believe you wrong. Lot of people will use Murray, power is not everything....especially if we will use only Pros. Not many of them have high power, and the ones that do....have other Major weakness....major...I am talking, White strokes Besides Serve, Roddick is mediocre....a good Nalbandian or Murray player will make him suffer ...or Monfils

You may be right, but I doubt it...still... so many players out there build their game around basline, I highly doubt that some will think 50 is good to build their game around finishing at the net...most will still prefer a well placed power shot.. But lets say you have 72 Volley and 65 BH....now you really need to come in on the short balls...see what I mean?

I think the overall ranking (70 vs 74) is a bit misleading. Sure, there are more points for Fed compared to Murray, but the matchups of strengths and weaknesses can be exploited much easier in 'pro' matchups compared to everyone hitting the cover off the ball with 90 fh/bh/power/speed.

I like this idea more the more I think about it.

I am down for a trial Tourney too.

It is a little hard now thou, with RG and Wimb coming....but I think it is doable.

Why don't we all try some players in the game tonight, see how it feels and report here, in this thread?

the majority of the pro players are baseline built aswell, also i would find that a nadal v. murray for example would be unfair, the only players you can play with would be Fed, Nalbandian, nadal and roddick, they would be the only succesful players

PS3 might be a little different, just by the way the game plays and the fact that Nadal is there.

Did you forget Borg? ...how about Singleton guy? ..Berdich? if played the right way can be a nightmare..... Phylipusses for SV

as a nadal or federer or nalbandian you would have no problem against those players
