Nice match with GhostLD last night. I won 6-3 7-6. He has some really nice variation in his game, mixing up hard flat shots with accurate slices. He's made some good runs to the net too, to use the 66 he has on volley. I needed to be very alert to stay dominante enough.
He had three set points when I faced 0-40 at *5-6 in the second set. I saved those set points and we went to a tiebreak which I won comfortably 7-1.

I dont know, play him and youll know what i mean. You can tell when he risks. He only made 1 U.E. in our first match. He really does have some amazing timing, plus some of the double trigger where right at him, as i was trying to push him back, but he so consistent with so much power. Great fun though :D

Well i tried to take on djarvik and i couldnt even finsh the match. I was down 6-4, 6-7, 0-1, and im not taking this beating anymore. I dont know what it is, but he just hits shots with no pace then waits for a risk and then hits a winner, it kills me and i wasnt taking it no more, plus i had a lead in the tiebreak but he got it back. I dont know, he doesnt do anything special on that reutrn he just runs around and waits for a risk shot. I was gettin pretty pissed off about it ,so before my temper went out of control, i decided to take a break and let him have it.

I will get u djarvik, :D , Ive played way too much, i definately need a break Ill take moralspains advice and eat, i get sloppy after playing so man hours in a row.

Coolhand beat me down 7-5 6-2 this AM, he took the volley entirely out of my game. Every return was hard down the line or short crosscourt, and he barely missed. Very frustrating, I didn't even have a break point.
Well played, he's tough with such a big serve and consistent risk returns.

I had a TS3 marathon this weekend. Some nice friendly exhibitions to report on. Although many matches were losses, I am happy as I feel my game is improving slowly since I've managed to win some games and get break point chances.

Lost vs xxPowerplayxx, very close match, 4-6, 3-6.. I was a break up in the 1st set, but then he seemed to have my game figured...

Drew vs xxPowerplayxx, draw 1 set each as we couldn't finish, 4-6, 7-6.

Lost vs coke4 0-6, 3-6. He is without a doubt a top 10 contender. If only he believed it himself...

Win vs andonirx 6-7, 7-6, 6-4. He is an excellent server... He hit about 15 aces in that match. Real weapon. I managed to break him for the first time ever. Great match. We both love watching replays and just taking time between points.

Lost vs calvkln 3-6, 3-6. Encouraging match. Made him work for the breaks.

Lost vs djarvik 1-6, 2-6. This was Gonzalez (him) vs Moya (me). Very interesting game, he hardly used any power but was able to control the rallies... I had breakpoints, but he saved those comfortably.

Win vs v_x_m 6-4, 7-6. High standard first set. Fortunately for me, he must have got edgy at 4-5 and I broke to love... 2nd set he blasted me away and was 5-1 up, with setpoint... Somehow I came back and took a tight tie break.

Played Norberto earlier today - my first win against him in like 5 years.

The score was 6-7, 6-3, 7-6, though the second set he was "kidding" a bit (so he says  ). In that set he broke me, but I went on to win 4 straight games by breaking him twice in a row (not sure I've ever done that with a S&V character).

In the end it was 110 points to me, 105 to him; 1/10 break points for him, 2/6 for me; and probably the biggest factor - 13 aces for him, 26! :D  :P for me.

I really had to come up with some perfect serves to fight off the break points, and like usual, the tiebreaks came down to one lucky return.

Won v. SoundfSilence 6-0 6-3 good second set

Won v. andonirbx 6-3 6-0 1st set was very good, i got a break on the back of 2 unfornutate U.E, but in 2nd i ripped him to pieces

Hey Nimfrodil!

Of course, our fast pace match 8)

The psychological part of the game came to play (which I love!). At 5-1 down, I had little to lose so I was throwing everything at you. You also had little to lose and probably tried less  . Then when it was 5-3, I thought actually I can come back here and tried even harder...

I roughly remember, when you were serving at 5-4, that game was so tense for me :) I think it was 30-30, don't know how I pulled it back. Maybe a small mistake from you :o

Anyway, I was playing my Serve&Volley-player, he was playing with a powerful baseliner.

I got two breaks in the first set to take a 3-0 lead. Then he broke me but I went on to take the set 6-4.

Second set was very close, no service breaks. He got 4 breakpoints, but I served/volleyed them away. I didn't get any opportunities to break.
In the tiebreak I took an early minibreak, but that gave me a heartattack, and it gave him the opportunity to take the minibreak back. He then rushed on to a 7-4 win.

The 3rd set was again very close. No breaks, so another tiebreak.
I almost ate my controller when I he got an early minibreak, he went on to get a matchpoint on 6-5 with him serving. But somehow he missed an easy groundstroke into the semi-open field.

Then it just went on without any minibreaks, until 11-11. Then somehow I missed a not too difficult volley. I hope I didn't wake my neighbours with my yelling. Then unfortunately for me he took the tiebreak 13-11.

Final score: 6-4 6-7(4) 6-7(11)

This wasnt an exo match but i felt it should be reported. I lost ot ghost 6-3,6-7,6-4. He doesnt use his itst player when playing exo's so be aware. It was a good match, but one with little rallies as he was an avid risker (to say). On my service game it was either winner or error( most of the time winner), on his it was either me getting a good return or him going for an all out winner( which he ususally makes). The key to him is his serve, its not strong and has to be taken adavtange of, no LT return but a RT return.

To beat ghost he has to have an off day, or else he will risk you away. Wonderfully played ghost, all though i do have to say that i will need a new controller after i lost that break point when you were serving at 5-4 in the third, my head as well will need to be checked.

He is definately a top 20 player, beware when he is on, its scary.
