Indian Wells QF: Federer v. Verdasco

Postby Cro Morgan » Thu, 19 Mar 2009 04:32

If Verdasco plays as he did in the SF of the Oz Open, Federer doesn't stand a chance.

Won't happen.

Federer in straights.

i know that Verdasco played an amazing match verse nadal in the AO, but i think Federer will prevail in three sets.
7-6
6-7
6-4.

I think Fed has the edge in that he can take long breaks off and still come back and win. Dont know how Verdasco will handle a big match after taking a break. Should be a good match.

It better be televised!!!! :D

Federer should win. If he does is another question. Would like him to win though.

because at least until now that he seems a more serious player he was known for going out to lots of parties, plus with his big friend Feliciano Lopez lol, both are known for being playboys. Kind like Safin. But at least Verdasco seems he want to be a serious player now. I think that even if Verdasco plays like he did on the Oz Open semi Federer could win, it's a different game, Federer likes that type of game.

I was checking your userbars, you have won the Grand Slam( usa, aussie.open, wimbl, roland) mate?, you´re a legend

Yeah Verdasco has changed his way of living. He´s been training with Gil Reyes and has won 4 kg of muscle mass the last month ( lot of days in the gym, he said).

PS: It´s true Feli and him loved going out around Madrid.

Federer doesn't play well, and Verdasco the contrary, he was amazing when he played against Nadal, I think he can win.
