Yeah fred belin had an uncanny way of dragging you way of court, trapping you with no winning options left.
And this might not go down well as most of the people posting about ts1 here are pc players but the xbox tour had IMO a higher standard of play and a tougher level of competition. And VINCE dominated his last season as much as anyone before him, winning almost every match be it sim or reg.
Of course overall not as dominant as ced or rafa.

I think Ced is the best player, most dominant on ITST because the guy won if I'm not wrong about 120 matches in a row. He won all the grand slams (not Australian Open, it wasn't played) in 2005, all the masters series and all the other small tournaments he entered. Well he won everything he played falling only in 2006, as everyone knows, to Pahel (I would like to see that match to see what you did Pahel  ). Of course the level is much higher nowadays but he completely dominated on his time, mainly because he found an higher level, some tricks, the others just found later. As Pahel said, I second that, he is the man.

You are too funny. He has a better knowledge and he is better than you.
Oh, you say you are better on hard and grass and he is better on clay?
Sadly I cannot load the statistics at the moment, but I just guess the first 2 matches of your head-to-head are far away. Besides it is not the statistic which counts but the real talent/skill. And there he beats you in any case.

In my point of view, VINCEanity and Mr Ger are the most talented ITST members ever! Even after they retired, they managed to come back in an unbelieveable way, showing the "new elite" that they were still better than anyone else - other great players like Thierry tried to have a come-back as well, but failed!
When topspin2 started, I played many of the well-known topspin1 players, also VINCEanity, Mr Ger and Fred Belin - during the first weeks, I would say that Fred Belin's and my level were more or less the same, I won some matches, I lost some matches - but I had a very hard time against VINCE, loosing most matches, and I had absolutely no chance to win against Ger! Ger and VINCE stopped playing topspin2 after some weeks, while Fred improved more and more, and became number1 - in case VINCE and Ger would not have retired, they probably would have been at least as successfull as Fred!
So in my eyes Fred is the most ambitious player, and for sure one of the most important and talented ITST members, but the best (and most talented) players are VINCEanity and Ger to me!
I do not know most of the PC-players, but after seeing some videos and talking to mecir in the past, I still think that the Xbox level was a bit higher than the PC level

@ Mecir: Hi buddy, I hope you are OK, I really miss the old days

Jahrim is also worthy of a mention. If memory serves, he was 35-2 on the Xbox ladies tour - his two losses the result of a "no match" at Wimbledon (the only Slam he didn't win) and a "walkover" at the year-end tournament. Basically, no one ever beat him.

Speak with Berg plz...let him explain you the reason why i'm pretty sure about what i wrote. It's useless that i continue to explain with words the sensations we both have during our last match. If you want to believe that he's better than me and more talented also, you are free to think what you want: simply you will wrong.

P.S. Are you a "friend" of Pahel?? I wish for you that you aren't dude... It's not a good company, in particular during a critical period(adolescence) you are passing in these year: if i was in your parents i dont allow you to esc with him...haha :P

I am free enough and I know enough to decide who is more talented. And I give you one tip: The person does not start with Dave and does not end with 82.
The last sentence perfectly shows how selfish and narrow-minded you are. At least I congratulate you for that.

What do you mean with that Norberto? Are you referrering to ThierryH from TS 1 tour? If it's him, as I think it is why do you say that? What come back and what failure?

Lol, sorry nothing personal to Mcfed or Dave (I don't want to take part on this thread), just found the sentence I "underlined" very funny.

He means Tjerry which was a number one on the TS1 tour on the xbox.

@Mcfed: "selfish" is one of many parts of my personality but "narrow-minded" i believe that is more apt to other people here...i want to suggest for example one person now:his name begin with Mc and end with fed...who could be this mysterious character!? :!: :?:
Have you seen anyone else to intervene(i mean taking one position) in the angry discussion beetween me and Pahel??? No!
Why did you need to post an opinion about a topic in which you know hardly nothing??? We never playied eachother neither in fun matches nor in a official ones: to be more accurate i think that we playied once in a tournament match, not more...how can you judge my level of playing through a single match??
You speak very often without cognition of cause and this is a bad attitude that i hope you could improve during the next years: everything is possible with good will...it's enough that you think to Pahel: in less than 2 year he almost learn to accept losses and also to be more gentle with people both here and in real life...

Hello Norberto!
I am just fine thank you. Are you back in shape now that the top spin nights are a thing of the past?
But yeah those were good days.
One thing that I have said before is that top spin on xbox was a deeper game, mainly because of the analogue stick I think, also a slightly different gameplay.

I didn't intervene you. But you always think you are the greatest and it seems as if you think it is just luck if the other wins. And that is crazy.
Do you know what: I won't say anything more to you because that is typical if someone is narrow-minded. He won't be able to look at the whole situation from a farer point of view. Basta.
