Bring back TS3 tour! Petition :D

Postby ydderFx » Wed, 11 Jul 2012 17:54

Bring back a TS3 tournament or (tour), I can't stand this 0 unforced error ball bashing unskilled game that is TS4. Although TS4 does have some improvements over TS3 like movement and some animations but the gameplay is horrendous ball bashing with short cross court control shots. Any chance for a resurrection of this tour or game? I know most TS3 players have left or faded out but I reckon it could still be better than TS4 tour

I am playing friendly TS3 matches as of late, add me: djarvik

Puttu Puttu is also playing as well as SMP Androyo.

I agree a much better game and experience. Best tennis game on consoles to date.

Yeh I will get on once I can find my CD :?? Haha Moralspain, delete the patch and play one game then give your character points take them away then keep adding and so on. Haven't played TS3 in ages so need to get used to the movement again

I am sure we have at least 10 ITST member still playing the game here. We could have a thread going where who ever players the game can post their gamertag and we can add each other for some friendly matches.

I played Puttu twice last week. First match I was a bit rusty, but a day later in the second it was all coming back to me. Although he was taking easy on me

What was that player who was on PS3 and he won like a couple slams, I think he was from China or Japan. He couldn't speak great English but he was such a good player. I remember playing him when I was serve and volleying and I almost beat him ;) end score was 4-6 6-7. He messaged me after the match saying "very good serve volley" I was like

P.s He didnt miss a risk

Good! I reckon with enough interest they might consider it? TS3 is so so so superior to TS4. And this game dare I say it, takes skill :O I found my TS3 box but no disc :( got to buy a new disc tomorrow

I honestly think more people would want to play ts3 than 4.. the issue is telling the former players and if the new interests have the disc or not. You should consider just running the sim tour again screw the 4090 that way we once again get a sim tour.

I am in favour of the SIM tour again, I wouldn't mind if only the 90/40 tour was back though.

Just ordered my new disc for £2 what a bargain

Good that you mentioned it. The game can really be had for a few dollars now. I suggest to everyone who never played it and is looking for a deeper version of TS4, which more complexity and strategy - go out and buy it. It will take time to learn though, although the basis that TS4 gives will help you to start quickly. Be prepared to give up a bit of graphics and animations. Although there are more core animations there.

....it really seems now that I think about it, that TS3 is a reasonable progress to TS4. Sorta that TS4 is a tutorial and the first step, while TS3 is the evolution. They should have released the games in that order, TS4 first, then TS3.
