Am I the only one that finds the newly, popular short angle control shot annoying? I mean, a lot of the top guys are using these shots regularly. Just seems a bit unrealistic for this shot to be so offensive and the whole point of ITST is to try and create a realistic experience. What tennis pros win matches playing balls short in the court with no little pace???

It's true but that's the design of the game. It is what it is. Just try to enjoy it as a game. It's not meant to be realistic.

That's my point, before this new style emerged, we did play a more realistic game, didn't matter what the design of the game was. Not sure how long you have been on ITST, but it is not the same as what it has been for the past couple months.

I agree, because i can't understand how sometimes a control shot can be as powerful as a power shot. At the same time, we are forced to use these shots because they can't be banned, they aren't cheese.
A good thing would be an upgrade from 2k nerfing the power of these shots, because they have been introduced to open up the court with strict angles and good wrong-foot opportunities, but it's unrealistic that they can be a better solution to score a winner...
