Can we just play without updating? I have a match tomorrow and couldn't be bothered with all the desync errors since I have a small window of time to play in..
Each time there's a new patch/build usually means fresh install.

Indeed, I suggest not updating the game until the new ITST patch is released. If there will be a need, we will be issuing one day extension for updating :D

BTW - soon we will have our own patch. One all inclusive patch for an easy install.

I don't think it's possible to log in online without updating to the latest version.
Djarvik I suggest you wait for SamModder to release his 2012 patch before releasing that final ITST patch. He said it should be ready in a week or two.

If this is true, then we gonna need to release the patch asap and extend deadlines if needed.

As for the patch, essentially, our patch will replace Sam's patch. So no need to wait for his patch.

Are you on the latest version yet?
If not, I can make a game right now to test if it will work on the old version.

I'm still on the old version and when I go to "Find Internet Games" it says "You have to install the latest version to find Internet games.", so we have to wait for the ITST Update.

I thought we would wait in order to have all the new faces, outfits, animations and courts as a base for the itst patch.
I mean in the current patch many players have wrong outfits (tomic the old one with sunglasses), bad faces (dimitrov) and outdated racquet models.

So why not use these from sam's new patch to make the roster even better? The stats and player styles will of course be the same with the previous itst patch.

Is it possible to do a direct match with the old version?

You mean one hosting a "Private Session" and the other one is to "Join Remote Game" via the IP address of the host? Clicking on "Join Remote Game" works and setting up a private session works in the old version -- just don't know if both work at the same time.

Just tried via remote connection there with VMoe, and you can still join games that way. (We got desync, but might be another issue)

And second try was a "Lost Connection". Try with you hosting, maybe better.

EDIT: It worked, but it was a bit "strange" regarding the timing (on both sides!). Was fun to play, though, Fish against Dimitrov. :) He made many errors because the timing was different, I realised pretty soon what I had to do to cut these errors out.
