I have the latest and greatest Mac, but I'm not exactly a tech phenom. How, specifically, can I play Tennis Elbow - ONLINE - with my Mac??

Please speak in layman's terms cause I ain't dat smart.

Cro,

He probably is referring to running Windows. You'll need to install Windows on your Mac, and then get the Windows version of Tennis Elbow
I used to think I was indecisive... but now I'm not so sure.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

djarvik wrote:I noticed the same about that shot. But I would not call it too powerful. Too safe? Yes.

There needs to be a bit more risk in hitting this one, especially a few in a raw.

indeed it seems to be easy enough to shoot the acceleration shots, so I agree in that point ... also take into account that depending on your player type (defender, baseliner, etc) you also have an x number of accelaration shots you can use, when you use them all (and they also rip your stamina) even if you press b1 and b2 they will just be regular shots, also ripping your stamina makes you noticeable slower and it makes aiming a little trickier ... fine tune this a bit for online play and I'm pretty sure we got a winner here ...

in serves I go with djarvik as well, I don't find serving too powerful at all (also take into account that if you play online in "realistic" mode the power caps at 80% I believe - check the instructions), it's hard to aim the powerful first serve (it's not always that reliable, although my character is still outside the top 500 in career mode and not above 60% in serve precision) and the second serve if you don't risk placement a guy that has a bit of counter skill will surely make your life difficult... although I'm not a great tennis player I can surely relate that to real life experiences and real pro tennis as well ...

MeisterEder,
as outlined by djarvik, the return is hard because you have actually to work for it, so you need to have some good reflexes ; but you have several ways to avoid getting aced too much, the easiest one is to simple stand farther from the baseline ; after a while, you shouldn't get aced more than 1 per game in average (on medium speed surface) ; read here for tips => http://www.managames.com/Forum/topic8-6180.php

tigerofintegrity,
if you feel it's too easy to do accelerations, play with the Elite controls ; usually, people in your case are pleased by them.

HuntingGlobe,
dropshots only fall in the net if you're really misplaced or if the incoming ball is really too strong.

Cro Morgan,
I'm afraid that if you're not tech savvy, it'd be quite hard for you to install Windows on your Mac. For tech savvy people, it's a rather straightforward process, though, so if you have a tech friend, maybe it's the occasion to invite him over for a cup of coffee... ;)

I'm on Mac too and I've installed Windows on it since the beginning, it's pretty easy.

When it's installed, you just have to press "alt" at the launching screen, and it will ask you to start from windows or mac.

With windows installed on a mac, it's the best laptop you can have. You can play a lot of games ;)

I never played online but at least I could check the lobby and all, nevertheless you can always install two instances of the game ... the game without the addon is just 300 megas or such

I'm impressed by the videos of Sam's patch.
Can somebody share a video link to the game without Sam's patch?

If both players have the same version and Sam's patch, is online play possible?

yep, if two players have the same version it won't go out of sync ... either way as I told tonigno I have two instances of the game installed, one with the latest sam's patch and one plain simple for online purposes

in a totally different thing and as I noticed the game creator registered here, as I'm mostly a linux user (currently using ubuntu 11.10 in most of my machines - although I have a dual boot in my gaming pc for obvious reasons) I noticed that the latest version of wine somehow doesn't manage to run tennis elbow 11 (all seems fine until you go to an actual game), got to search the ubuntu and wine forums to see if anyone managed to get it to work - linux users are a perfect target for independent games ...
