also just played my my match vs rogder7 after abit of a delay so he could unlock his skill and the 1st set i had him on the ropes i thought this guy beat zooloo lol and the 2nd set was going according to plan i was 5 -2 and i thought i was cruising well i guess i was wrong out of nowhere rodger woke up and started hitting through me like i wasnt there it was unreal i had 2 matchpoints at 5-4 but rodger saved them superbly with his serve and wrong footing me a few times so he got back to 5-5 and from then on it was end to end stuff we had so many long rallies and i was surprised he stayed in them with his stamina so low he was in the red for SOOO loong lol.

it went all the way to the tiebreak where yet again we had some immense rallies and no one could get get a breather but i finally won 7-5 with the skin of my teeth after another grueling rally, and if it went 3 sets im sure i would of lost it.

but the key to my win was me coming to the net abit more and i won some every important points at the net, but great game rodger your becoming a star in front of our very eyes

Cmon, be honest, you cursed me :D

Yes, with this he should be Number 1 or 2 very soon, because its nearly impossible to break him, minimum 2 Aces in each service game lol.

And its not fair, in the other tournament he is my 1st round opponent. Oh yes, I am so lucky :D

I am thinking about retire...

I have the impression Rodger relies very much on his serve at MS tour... his results there are much better than in MSS where he doesn't has his big serve and big power and all.. Can anyone tell me his exact setup in MS tour ? I heard it's with Babb but which lvl's

he relies on serve for sure, but he s not 98/98 or whatever setup with extra big stats. i dont think he has anything higher than 89, but he s got 2 serve related skills.

it s a setup i had never seen used on itst with success so i kind of enjoy seeing someone with his very particular style making his way here.

besides that, i curse him alot when he hits 3 aces in a row :D

@ Dennie.

Yes, its mostly all about serves....I think I played perfect in the first 2 sets against him, whioch ended 7/6, 6/7....
So...you have to hope that you win a lucky point in the tie-break to get the mini-break.
But if you are not mentally strong and focus on that...I would say, if he serves that perfect. It's impossible to win, since the person, who has not such a big serve is all the time more under pressure to hold it....

I dunno, I think If I used this setup, I would win almost every match maybe.

... :!:

Wait.....I have an idea.... :D

Isn't he using a 0-15-5 with Babb? Then he has SRV 82 and PWR 86 (compared to SRV 98 and PWR 98 with 0-20-0 Babb), but he also has a better FH stat and stamina is red in this version. Furthermore 54 SPD in 0-15-0 Babb against 40 SPD of 0-20-0.

Definitely a more realistic setup with less weaknesses.

I actually think 0-15-5 is stronger than 98/98. It might not get quite as many aces but because of the two serve skills, you still get plenty and more than enough to help you hold serve 95% of the time. And wings of 81/71 make it virtually just as strong as most other setups off the ground. Stamina is also high and with short points on serve, that will never run dry.

Whether it's overpowered or not, well obviously that's up for debate but I personally feel it's stronger than 98/98 since it lets you hold almost as easily but also equips you with the baseline game to break opponents. To me it's like adding Cilic's baseline game to Isner's serve!

just played this setup vs belim 3d and it was a hard 1st set but once you get a read on the serve if you can it can be straight forward although its tough, but it isnt the hardest setup to play against imo but its a good one

That's cos you didn't play Rodger7 when he's on a good serving day. He can regularly hit the outside of the line with his serves, out wide or down the line. There is no reading it when that happens. There's only 'watch aces fly by and hope it doesn't last for long' but when it does last for long you're screwed. Now I don't know what it's like on a bad service day but I think it's much harder to have a bad service day than a bad baseline day in TS4. :P

Likos wins his second title in SIM against his rival Zooloo 6-2, 6-2

Overall it was a great match. Zooloo wasn't playing his best, because our matches are always close.

I was playing really well, mixing both offensive and defensive tactics.

Good game Zooloo, i know that you will recover very quickly
