Online chat or feature where you can see who's online

Hi

Would have been great to have a feature on the site where you could see who was online and maybe a chat where people that are online can talk and discuss things instead of having all discussions on the forum.

What do you think?

You can see who is online at the very bottom of the main forum screen. I doubt realtime chat will be added, but a rapid series of PM's is always possible if you know the other person is there.

There used to be a chat feature but nobody used it.

Then again, it was during a time of much less activity at ITST

Interesting, I had no idea. Why was it stopped? Was it because of lack of use or a cost issue?
A combination of the two I would guess.
