Im watching my first USO match, it feels like the court is much slower...haven't seen any winner yet! strange.
Shame on Murray!!!! he is playing against an unkown guy and he plays like a pusher, waiting for his opponent to make an error...come on man, you are No4.

Dont bother! nice draws usually takes him to the final without any problem unless something very unexpected happens.

Isner has really improved his forehand a lot.... but his backhand must be easily the worst shot in the top 25.

i'm watching the match too, it still amazes me how big Isner is , he's a good player, with that serve he could play serve and volley, he just needs to improve his volley, and will be a nightmare for all his opponents...well i think he actually is now

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I like that he can force his way to the net with that huge serve, and actually comes in during rallies as well (probably because his groundies are somewhat sub-par), but he should S&V more....and yes, improve his volleys.
I've seen him hit some lovely volleys, but today he's finding the net more often than not.

anyone watched Del Po's match? i saw the score and thought to myself "if he's at his 100% again then he's one of the favorites"

Yes, I think DP is one of favorites. I picked him to make the final over Fed in that fantasy thing last month. I think he'll do really well this USO.

fed did grow up on clay only he didnt design his game for it standing on the baseline taking the ball early has not been the traditional way to play on clay but that is what fed tries to do
