Goa Master, I see you did not talk about Bayern Munich losing to Monchengladbach! :P
I used to think I was indecisive... but now I'm not so sure.

you right , that was a shocking nightmare for me and for my friends .
we can´t believe what happens there yesterday . horror pure.
its hard for me to talk about this match .
but i´m sure this was just an accident .
the main problem was that mönchengladbach defend with 11 players ,gladbach didn´t want win ,they just want a remis ,

,an we(bayern) played not clever enough to create good chances, like borussia dortmund did this at friday against hamburger SV

the lose was definitifly undeserved ,but this is football.

next week it will look different....................i hope

I support Arsenal and I think they could win the premiership this year if they sign a central defender like Gary Cahill

You're right GOA, that was a long way till football returns ! I fell in love with football very young, and keeping watch, discuss and enjoy it now.

I'm a Olympique Lyonnais fan, way before we won 7 French championship titles in a row.. I remember the day I saw Sonny Anderson's jersey in my friend's room, I was pretty young but immediatly I knew it will be my team, my heart, my passion !
I think the best team we ever had was on 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 seasons, when we reach quarter finals of the Champion's League with Abidal, Essien, Tiago, Diarra, Juninho and Malouda in our team.. Pretty tough team !
In 04/05, we lost to PSV Eindhoven on penalty shootout, after great matches (1-1 1-1 4-2 pen.) For me, there WAS a penalty on Nilmar in the extra time, but I'm not objective : D (can't find the video of this.. anywhere..)
Next year we had our revenge, crushing them 1-0 4-0, and face great Milan AC in quarters.. 0-0 at home, then 1-1 at San Siro, 88min : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIu0oZ5vyEg
Can you believe it ?! Goalkeeper's deflection, two posts, and then Inzaghi pushing it in.. Nightmare !
Since this day I hate Inzaghi with all my heart and soul : )
I deeply think we never had the fittest striker for our team these years.. Nilmar was young and never really get consistent, Wiltord wasn't a pure 9, Elber and Carew were awful.. If Benzema's mother have been pregnant three years earlier, we'll be at this time european champion ! (can't believe I just said that)
And two years ago, we face GOA's Bayern in semi finals, our best result in the process, and I won't comment this match ! Just can't stand now the name of Ivica Olic..

Anyway, this era is over, now we've bet on a long time process by giving the power to a young coach,Rémi Garde, who played 10 years in our team, was the captain, already coached U18 and second team, so I hope we could have some rising stars again, as Benzema. Remember these names : Benzia, Réale, Faure !
However, we still have a competitive team for this year, my doubt is on the defense, who appears to be weak.. Cris is retired yet, and Cissokho is very unconsistent.. We'll see.
But in the attack front, we've got Briand, Bastos and Lisandro, which is quite good. If Gourcuff shows his real face, should be great. Lisandro already scored a magnificient goal, pure '9' action, flair and sense of goal : http://www.goal4replay.net/VideoWatchF.asp?ID=56852&Ln=

For Bayern's first match, yeah sure it's an accident, but you'll need a Mario Gomez in full efficiency again this year, cause Robben and Ribéry are made of cristal !

Hope everybody will enjoy this season : )

you right in PSV eindhoven-Lyon in 04/05 is the biggest scandal in champions league with Chelsa-Barcelona 08/09.

Lol the inzaghi's goal is EPIC for Larqué's comment "Oh Abidal Oh ABIDALLLLLL il s'est troué".

The young of Lyon looks very strong.
But Yannis "futur Benzema" Tafer come into Toulouse last year.
Result : 0 goals in the season lol

Next Benzema is called Benzia : more goals than Karim at the same age, same 'career' for now. He's still young but maybe we'll see him this year, at least next one !

And Tafer didn't play that much last year.. (genre Santander c'est plus fort !)

Benzia is the new future Benzema since the U17 World Cup :)
He will probably do better than Tafer
(Tafer a commencé titulaire et c'est fait piquer sa place par Federico la grosse machine)

Yes he has scored 8 goals the last season on Division 2 (who is the third , English are strange like always :D ).
£15 million for a guy who scored 8 goal in the third division It's strange only Arsene Wenger do it.
This story reminds me Carlos Vela ,is he die ?
