I had never actually tried Blake before the patch but I played a few matches last night with him, and was DESTROYING people, I had no idea he was such a good character, I think I might feel more comfortable with him than Davydenko or Agassi

dsavbeast012 wrote:Had a good match today w/ Bydox. I was Blake and he was Agassi. Lost 6-4, 6-4. I fell behind 4-1 in the first but was able to get it to 5-4 and make him serve the set out. I think I may have had a BP but had a few UEs that cost me the set.

2nd set was also tight. He got the first break for 4-3 but I broke back to 4-4. I played a terrible service game and gifted the break at 5-4, and he was able to close it out pretty easily on his serve.

All in all a solid match. Still a few niggling gripes w/ the game, mainly the effectiveness of the slice vs other shots, and still being able to hit some shots even w/ bad positioning - I hit some as well that probably should've been errors, so it goes both ways. But some fun rallies and good play from both of us. I tried to play my usual net style at times, but it was tougher w/ Blake's low volley. I think I was 22/26 at the net, but that's not counting all the times I got caught and lobbed.

Yap, the closest match I played so far on ITST. Fun one.
First match I played after the update, and whoah! 16 UE
I have to accustom with it, but seems like it's a bit more realistic.

(I confirm, 22/26 on the net for you ;) )

6-2, 7-5

Just want you to check something, the unforced errors from Andy, most of them with his BH, probably all of them, i focused my game on his BH, his weakest wing, and wow, check those 19 unforced errors!!, finally you can follow a theoretically good tactic and have success :D

The host will make a decision on the match. You wont need to do anything. If your opponent really did not respond you will get the walkover yes.

OK my opponent C4ill has not been online in 3 days and never really answered my 'what times can you play' question that I sent him in a PM...this is why I don't play tournaments....it is freaking impossible to make arrangements with Europeans or people on other continents, they either don't understand WTF I'm saying or they are never online when I am...

2/ Or you're never when they are :)

strange things...

Postby Neso007 » Thu, 09 Jun 2011 22:35

I lost against VMoe86 6:4 4:6 an 4:6 was a hard match and we both played with Federer...

He plays really good!

But i have 2 strange things that happend to me to mention...2 times i had a brak point and i tried to hit a winner with a flat power shot after a very very long rally to the open side of the court...and 2 times my ball goes out even if it stood "perfect" for the timing !!!!! that´s s***** i mean, if i loose a point even if i´m in a good position an hit it perfect than it shouldnt go out ! right now i am really angry about that because you do not get many chances against him :-( :-(

Im assuming your stamina was depleted comepletely and thats the reasoning for the balls going out.

yeah, but his stamia was completely gone too.....and when you play three sets, then you have no stamina after 5 shots in a rally...its dumb that a ball ca go out even if you hit perfect, that means that you have NO chance but to play safe balls....

Likely your positioning wasn't what it should be. I found out that I only hit balls out if I was not standing in the correct spot to go for a down the line flat power shot, even if my timing was perfect.
