I would play with you right now (me being in LA, we have the same time zone) but you're not on PS3... oh and the PSN doesn't work anyway... :?

you actually live in Los Angeles or just somewhere nearby??

I'm 20-30 minutes from downtown LA

Well anyways I'm just sitting here playing the CPU, couldn't find any matches online at the moment..

Just beat Courier with Djokovic on Very Hard, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0...wow the CPU sucks big-time

So far I'm loving this game though, the rallies look SO awesome and so lifelike as far as the animation and ball physics goes (yes I know there's no sidespin. haha remember that 1 guy...). Also I think they did a really good job with the pros, they look a hell of a lot better than TS3 anyways; remember 'Alcoholic Federer'?? Looked like he'd been drinking a pint of vodka a day for 20 years, shit...

I also like the idea of the 'skills' so far, I think it goes a long way towards incorporating the 'intangibles' aspect of a player's game that commentators always blab about...anyways somebody come play me this is getting boring :P

I'm in LA but like the opposite end to you. I'm up in Northridge. I've been down to Long Beach once before, around the harbour area. Went to Aquarium of the Pacific when I was there. I also don't have a car here so it's pretty difficult for me to get anywhere. Public transport is mostly useless unless you're in downtown. I would have expected better from such a big city... :(

Yeah you need a car unfortunately. Public transportation as you've probably experienced in NYC wouldn't work in Los Angeles...even within the actual city limits of Los Angeles, everything is much more spread out and further apart than in NYC. Also our public transportation system just sucks

Did you know LA has a subway system?? I didn't know this until maybe 5 or so years ago.

Damn, you are good! Beating the CPU on very hard on the first day :D

I absolutely agree, the rallies can be immense and real, fantastic atmosphere. Try using Djokovic, he is the real thing!

EDIT: oops, you already said you used Djokovic

You practiced non-stop with the demo beforehand! :D

And I've been on that subway a few times. It doesn't exactly cover a lot of LA so it's not a lot of use... it's not like in HK where the subway is so extensive and most people practically use it everyday!

*I also haven't played tennis at all since I've been here. Really, really miss playing tennis and can't wait to get stuck into it again when I get back home. Gonna be so rusty though!
