Well Alex,

A good poll and way of promoting the doubles tour.

I voted "yes" to a doubles tour! In summary I am not a natural doubles player or big lover however I fully appreciate the requirement and fun that can be had in playing the doubles tour.

As you may of seen I have singed up to doubles tournament because I wanted to experience it and wanted to help promote the interest in the tournament / tour i.e. the more signups the better.

In TS3 the doubles tour was done before I came on board so I never got to experience it and also I thought that you could only play doubles if you had 2 registered members on one team (e.g. Moral & Ensimada). Now that I see you can have a "guest" it makes playing more feasible but it may of always been this way?

Anyways a poll option that would apply to me would be:

* Yes to doubles but unsure how committed my "guest' is going to be with regards to playing or turning up!

However I have brought my guest up to speed with the importance of turning up for matches when they are arranged and that we have a window of time slots to play between rounds - if we make it past the first round that is  he has only literally played the game once for 30 minutes...

I don't mind if my guest sucks at the game, I may also suck at doubles but I think the taking part and having a laugh is more important in doubles, just like it is in real life. Obviously pro doubles players want to win in the real life ATP but having fun and not taking it too seriously seems the way of it, which i like :)

Guys like Sherlock (with his bro 118), YenzoY, samL64 (and Cranion)and I must forget some.... are playing TS4 and didn't signed up the tournie, I wonder why ??

I wonder why we have so few double teams when it's been a century we didn't have that much activity in numbers of players. I find weird the very little succes the double tour always had.

I should have recorded that one match against Jaylove and his pal in Roland Garros back in TS2 and post it on the main wall forever to make poeple love doubles. It would have been the best commercial ever.

We for sure had more double sign ups during the beginning of the TS2 tour. Not sure why it is either.

Like I said before, I wish I could, but my brother is just not interested.

Actually, if I recall correctly, this number of signups is pretty much equivalent to the doubles signups we had back in TS2. There's still a week left and already 7 signups. I would guess there will be about 10. The key thing will be to keep the numbers there or work on slowly improving it. The way to keep it from dying out is to only have doubles occasionally (6 or 7 masters tournaments and the grand slams).

A few masters and the slams sounds perfect. Too bad about 118... even with a small reward you could find him he wouldn't play ?? just kidding

I'm working on a couple of guys I've met on WT whith whom i played a few very cool double match to make them join us.....not won in advance unfortunately though

The problem is he actually has a job at a bank and only has time from about 0200-0500 CET to play every day. I don't think that is going to work with most opponents :(

Not sure if this has been answered or not, but is it possible to have a doubles partner that is not in the same room/on the same XBOX?

It's not possible, maybe in the future...well actually i'm sure that option will be available in the near future

2K Czech's President, Stephane Dupas

Previously it was only possible to play online doubles with two people sharing a console at each end. Will there be an option to play matched doubles online with four different connections?

Ahhh, still not. I have the same answer as before, I mean for us, what is the most important is that lag doesn't effect the result of a game. And unfortunately for consoles, with the level of detail we have, and the level of precision of the gameplay, technically speaking we were not satisfied. We'd much rather make difficult choices to guarantee the game experience - that's what I told you - we are not doing a tennis simulation, we are trying to be long lasting and deliver this, so we make compromises.
