SIM tour

Postby maximo » Sat, 23 Apr 2011 20:53

Hi , i am reading a lot of complaints about some skills, especially TI MD, i agree, (of course a bad player with TI MD will continue being a bad player), 2 skills and 50 extra points makes the game much more arcade. Reading others topic i have seen that Aniltje proposed playing without coaches or with silver coaches, i thought the same when i began to play TS4, so i think that his idea is fantastic   , is ITST working in a SIM tour? what do you think about a warm-up tournament with bronze coaches? we could have two tours like in TS3, a regular tour where is allowed golden coaches and a sim tour with silver or bronze coaches.

i think whe should just cap the power and look at possible ground stroke caps if people feel it is necessary im mean i want to have a balanced character i.e all stats orange or at least one weapon im mean we could all accept people have better fh and than one another but to have so much power in addition is unfair, i want us to keep gold coches lets just look at toning down TI/ MD combo, capping power for sim tour at say 68-70, but test the groundstokes with this s so everyone looking to play in the tour can decide if it's ok because lets some has one ground-stroke in the red and one orange and orange power we want to be able to make sure the tour is fair so people feel the lost not necessarily because thier opponent had better stats but that they were simply out played the gold coach skills with give each of our character different skills which allows for variety
so with out them we cant experience the full depth of game play e.g without the spectacular volleys you cant do Boris Becker- like dives

Height

Postby MysteryPlayer » Sun, 24 Apr 2011 20:20

I keep expressing and I think it makes a difference is for tje sims tour their should be rules on tje height and weight of players. Tall players six feet should be offense style.

has anyone noticed a difference in playin with a tall offensive player as opposed to a shorter offensive player?

I don't think there should be limitations on restricting a certain playstyle to a specific height. There's some tall players that aren't aggressive players.

I still think it's too early though to be making SIM tours. Let the MS tour settle in and let's wait for some more patches and updates. I feel we are all moving too fast with this.

IN RL there is a difference , but it is usually that bigger players can hit harder , serve harder and volley better , shorter players are usually faster and can change direction faster than larger ones .

But in RL taller players are better usually lol

How about in game? That's what I was aiming towards. Do the differences in size translate to gameplay? If not why restrict it?

You'll want to ban Borg if you hate TI MD players cause his skills are also very effective, but Nadal is simply the Pei Jing Quah odf 2k open...
Too good for his own good, the Djoker needed to have a even better forehand, since he has the best in the wiorld
