I made like 60-70 characters in TS2 (maybe more).
Totally ridiculous.

Sure, it might not seem fair to the player who had momentum, or a fitness advantage, but there's just not much that can be done about it. It's just a part of online gaming, and the less you let it bother you, them more successful you'll be. IMO, it would really be up to the game designers, to put some system in place where you could resume a disconnected match with the same conditions that existed when the disconnect occurred. Maybe it could save your progress as you play, and give an option in the lobby to resume from a save-point.
On the ITST's side of the coin, I'm sure it will be dealt with the same way it always has: The hosts/management have to assume that most players want good, clean, and fair matches, and the ones who would stoop to such behavior will eventually be exposed and expelled. There's no perfect system, but I'm confident that the way ITST handles it is about as close as you can get.
For the part about switching characters, I don't think that's ever been a problem. Trying to use a character whose play-style is specifically suited to beat another player is not nearly as reliable as using a character who best suits your own game - the best players rarely change characters, and they especially don't change their play-style very often.
does anyone know who the the tour will be divided into sim and regular tours in regards to min and max stats ?JJ_DUBZ_87 wrote:I agree with both points, however with the first, sometimes matches lose connection and there's nothing either player can do. There's not much they can change there...
With the second I agree COMPLETELY!!! I'm actually surprised that with a SIM game there's that loophole of switching players inbetween tournaments. I don't get it and I don't think it's fair. If you start the tournament with one player with said style, you finish that tournament with that same player and play all the way through.
I also agree that a character stat sheet should be submitted to the tournament hosts upon signup or before the tournament starts.

I mean there's nothing wrong in guessing where you opponent will serve at the last minute right before they serve, but line dancing is so unrealistic.

If it can't be exploited in a cheesy way it might be good to maybe have the option to step in on a weak serve.
