this would address a major problem with TS3....yaaaay!!!!

Does anyone know or has anyone heard if there'll be any kind of possibility of viewing other people's matches - an in-built TS4 TV....ala Project Gotham Racing/Forza etc?

Aside from that, wanted to add I've downloaded the video (just the one originally posted in this link), recoded it and watched on big tv.....looks pretty damn good!!!!!

other info from people who played the beta:

-women shouts like turkeys
-they implemented "lets" in game
-seems to be 3D compatible
-signature character's shots like federer tweener and sampras super smash
-some shots from players look worse than in TS3 (!)
-timing between shots is different, like you have to release button at another timing for topspin than for flat strokes
-powerful strokes and serves drain stamina
-balls movement is said to be slower and "weirder" than in TS3
-The chair umpire sometimes asks the public to keep it quiet when they are excited after a point (cool)
-upgrading stats can't be done "manually" anymore, you can only chose one of the 3 categories they talked about (defense, offense and serve/volley) and it goes up to 20, so you can have stats like 7-8-5, 3-10-7 or 0-0-20
-serves can still be played with right stick but drop shots and lobs not anymore
-run around forehand with a trigger is confirmed
-the player doesn't "stick" to the ball anymore like in TS3, they move more naturally and can be better adjusted to hit the ball
-3 kind of way to hit a shot: 1) short tap for maximum precision, 2) hold and release for more power and a bit less precise and 3) long hold button and release at max for maximum power and very little precision (said to be the equivalent of the right trigger risk shot of TS3)
-shoulder button to run to the net is still there

thats it for now, ill try to get more details if i can

-the special abilities obtained by a coach wont last forever, if you change coach you lose the skill... i guess they think players are stupid and they quickly forget what they learned -_-
-special skills exemple: good serve under pressure

-here's what the 3 different upgradable options means for the stats:
°Serve/volley: add points to serve and volley
°offensive: add points to power, forehand and backhand
°defensive: add points to stamina, speed and reflex...

So that means you can't have a speedy or big server with offensive baseline style. Let's wait to see exactly how it'll end up in playing the game but it sound a bit lame. They said they did that to prevent people from creating "unbeatable monsters" but it just looks like the contrary. The monsters will put 20 in one of the 3 section to upgrade and will be "monsters" while if you want to create realistic player you'll be very limited because of how it works. But Im pretty sure it's not exactly like that, we should be able to separately improve our backhand and forehand...

drop shots is the only shot using the trigger, the other trigger is to run around forehand or backhand depending on your best shot.

Gameplay looks amazing. Sampras looks great, authentic volley, on the run is spot on! His serve is not right though... :(

Nadal looks incredible.. Can't wait!

"You actually have more shot configuration than in Top Spin 3, strangely enough. So before you had effects - everyone was trying to charge, that was basically the rule - and then you had the risk shots which were a separate configuration. Now each effect can be used with control or power so you have a lot more variation in there. The second thing we did was work on the attributes; what does it mean to have a lot in volley, what does it mean to have a lot in serving, in forehand, in backhand? So by tweaking, tuning, and redesigning some of this - it's a bit difficult to explain, something you have to feel by playing - we made it such that different styles can win; so you can win by pressing and holding, you can win by tiring your opponent, you can win by going to the volley. The variety should renew - rejuvenate - the experience, I hope. So that's where the depth is for the hardcore audience - It will be more about, 'oh man this guy is very good at serve and volley, how am I going to beat him, what should I do?' As opposed to 'man I can't have my timing right, you know, I need to have my timing right.'"

AWESOMEEEEEEEEE

Wow! These are definite improvements but it seems to me that everyone will kinda have to step back and relearn a good deal which is still good. I still consider myself an all-court player that doesn't use a lot of power. I wonder how this will affect me. Only thing is I don't SV; I chip and charge. Hmmmm. Sounds like a lot of fun.
