tenjintenkai wrote:Thanks for the link, interesting interview. But we should take these "facts"
carefully because we already heard some of it before TS3 release and they weren't in the game. These 2 guys are associate producer and brand manager, that means they are on the "business side", not on the creative side and without a doubt even less on tennis side. So they might not even know what they are talking about. Of course I would love that most of the statements in the interview are true.

I thought that they put an option (before the match or in the option menu) to have a "beginner" style of play and a "sim" style of play but it seems that they are both available on the court. Again, if done correctly it is great news. Simply because we still have the gameplay we like from TS3 (improved of course) but we also have the option to tap the button before hitting instead of charging it. That would mean that we could be able to chose a different shot depending on the situation and get away with a last second shot.
tenjintenkai wrote:"my player mode" seems to be where we can create a player and as they say "...so you can go in and make anyone who is not in our roster." I really hope that means we can quickly build a player with good stats and not go through career mode for hours. I also hope it means we'll have lots of empty slots to create characters (20 would be good but the more the better).

Personnally i wish they give up on that and fully concentrate on the gameplay we like. Anyway, kinect and move are not here to please simulation or sports people... usually we end up with sports game that not only dont require real move and gesture but even punish the player trying to make good moves. I am a fairly good tennis player and i already can see myself trying to do real backhand and forehands and getting beat to death by a grandma making quick wrist moves. Saying it would annoy me is an understatement. So please, just make this game as perfect as you can for traditional controllers and if you wish make a specific game for kinect and move LATER.

So if you pull the stick backwards too long it will get more and more angle but will also go closer above the net and eventually in the net?
