This is exellent news. And a february release makes it almost to good to be true.

And not to be a downer or something (and I wont judge the game based on these images) but it don't look that much improved graphically. Almost looks like TS3 with new players. The courts are the same and they still (see pic 2) forget the single posts under the net on some courts. Attention to detail is crucial when trying to make a sim. However, looking at pic 3 it seems as if the sliding on clay will be more realistic...

But, I still like what I'm seeing and hope that this game will be the ultimate Top spin-game.

February has never felt so far away.

Here's my wishlist:

Way more players, mainly non-retired ones. Playing with legends is fun but I want to play with djokovic, gasquet and such

Gameplay:
Make it harder to serve, especially out wide like in real life, due to the height of the net and such.

Player movement, a bit dodgy on ts3 when going forward at times.

Fix R1, it shouldn't add more power/angle to shots,

Short slices (duh), short volleys need to be much harder to do or less precise

A cancel button, would make volleying and even baseline play way better.

Hawkseye (just for the hell of it

Improve everything about the womens side of the game.

I don't know, the graphics (especially the player models) look significantly better to me. I mean TS3 was already very realistic, so any improvements would not be drastic. Really, what could have they done better? Graphics was never a problem with TS3!

2K was asking for suggestions (about improving TS3) 19 months ago!!! Obviously something was brewing way back then. So, given that so much time has passed, a February release date seems reasonable.

Seriously though, maybe a GREAT sign that they spent all their time and money on gameplay - leaving the courts, as is. That wouldn't be so bad.

Agree with you completely. My friends do to. They always tell me to stop pooping when coming to their parties. I try, but hey, an avantgarde-performance-artist has to do what an avantgarde-performance-artist has to.

The game looks too far along for "Christmas 2011". That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the game is delayed (the Tennis Gaming Gods are evil that way).

Very happy and hopeful!!! Fix stamina. Fix moving forward. Allow for swinging volleys.
