I was just gonna say that minus the 'he quit' part. Damn I would have liked to get one of those racquets and sell it on ebay!!!!!

good for Tisparevic for winning but whenever he wins/takes out a big seed it feels like a waste, because you know he's more than likely not going to capitalize on the momentum and he'll slip back into his journeyman ways.

that was pretty cool.

Tipsarevic played very well. I dont think roddick liked the fact that tipsarevic was sort of playing around with him in the end, you know the friendly shove and stuff.

I wonder if djarvik got a racquet?

If anybody gets a link to the interview please post it, this is one I really want to see

she must be related to djokovic....cmon man these guys and girls are professionals---they should be training for this kind of thing....what a disgrace to the game

It may not have been due to heat. Before she collapsed she grabbed her stomach, maybe she's ill or injured.

she has a concussion

Tipsarevic is a player who steps it up when meeting a top player. He doesn't let the occasion get to him at all so he was always going to be a threat for Roddick. If only he could keep up that level against lower ranked players.

His reason for hiding there naked was apparently to get some of Ivans winning mojo. I remember laughing quite alot when trying to picture this.

"I was like, 'What's going on? My stuff is on the ground'," Ljubicic said.

Noticing the locker wasn't quite shut, Ljubicic opened the doors to find the naked Llodra.

"Shock, completely shocked," Ljubicic said. "Michael Llodra naked in my locker."

"He said to me, 'I'm trying to get positive energy from you. You're winning a lot of matches this year'."

I used to really like Roddick. Not now. Lately, he's been nothing but an ass. The whole foot fault tirade was a joke. No class.

Sorry guys, didn't catch that Racket from Roddick.

I have tickets for night and day session on Ash today.....I plan to get drunk and scream out during Rogers match:

"....Roger! What are YOU going to get me for Christmas?"

Yeah Cro, Roddick is acting childish lately. Its one thing to argue a call, but he almost pulled a Serena there. I was waiting for him to reach into his packet and take the ball out....show it to the line judge and smile with a smirk.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

It turns out that prior to Azarenka's match, she fell while doing a sprint and banged her head. She got a concussion, but felt like she could still play, but as the match wore on she began feeling worse and ended up losing consciousness on court. It has absolutely nothing to do with the heat.

I was viewing the draw yesterday, and saw a Jamaican in the mix?? WTF? I found it fascinating, and read up a bit on him. He looked TERRIBLE here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC0mBsqbKkA , totally amateur status.

Then...
I wake up today and he's won against a serious player! Hidalgo is good, maybe he just didn't put his shoes on correctly, or maybe he underestimated the lazy Jamaican. I don't know **** about this guy, but has he changed his game dramatically since Estoril? I could have beaten him that day, he's a pusher without a backhand. Which makes him a very poor pusher :?

his parents bought him an oldschool volkswagen van to travel around in...the one big weapon he has is his big serve....which is why he is probably doing all right at the US Open and his forehand is not bad...ive seen him play a couple matches not in person but on my computer...

Ok, his game potentially sucks? I haven't seen his match vs RR Hidalgo, and it's impossible to find online.

But Brown is a cool character -

D. Bakker lucked out with the Gonzales retirement. I hope Dent pulls a fast one on Soderling but it seems unlikely... I'm really looking forward to the match between the winners.

PS- I'm sorry to see that Sweeting gave it up after 1 big win. Maybe Lubie didn't play his best, but Ryan could have followed it up with some kind of confidence, wtf...
