Serena Williams charged $100 to watch some tennis

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

I agree with Serena here. Sure the money isn't an issue for her and maybe that's what the tourny directors were counting on...

But if you agree to do a promotion for a company/event, getting charged for a ticket to said event is BS. I don't care who you are, Serena or Michael Jordan. It's the principle.

Steffi is the greatest female player? More like the luckiest.

Weird joke...But maybe cause you're a huge "princess" Hingis fan, right?

Steffi was/is the greatest. The few players who are close to her could be Navratilova,Serena Williams...Maybe one of the belgian (Henin,or Clijsters) but i think that's all... 8)

When Seles got stabbed, she was at the top of the WTA tour, she was still young and had many more titles and Grand Slams to come.

She was pretty much unstoppable at the time, even for the likes of Steffi Graff. Steffi was second best, but with Monica out of the way, she became the best player of the time. A spot which at the time was reserved for Monica.

If,if,if,....It didn't happen...So just accept that, don't say Steffi is just lucky and respect the champion...
I really liked Monica a lot!And i was very sad to see that mad story, but i always liked Steffi more...Maybe Monica could have done better than Steffi but we'll never know...and we can't be sure of that!

sorry ,but this can´t be your serious!
steffi was 3 years on top spot without a break.
how many matches steffi graf was unbeatable in a row !!
think about that
so the golden slam also was luck ?
i watched her carriere from beginning . she was simply the best that time, maybe the best of all time .
monica seles would had never do the same ,also without the attack in hamburg !!
her masterplan was to irritate opponents everytime with groaning like during a sex orgy.
that was a joke but nobody today have the constancy to do what steffi graf did in her time

i still remember Steffi's footwork, awesome, that super forehand, the graceful game, always on her tip-toes.........and all that without big muscles and steroids
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

For sure Seles would have won more but she wouldn't have won everything. Steffi was a better all round player she would still have won plenty. Also Seles was scarred mentally not physically, there was an opportunity for her to get back but it wasn't to be. Also I doubt even if she had got back she would have had the longevity of Graf.

it's the same deal with formula 1, the debate between senna-schumacher, whether schumacher would have won so many titles if senna had died in that race.

for me the facts matter, so yes schumacher is better than senna and yes graff is better than seles, and no i am not german.
