djarvik, i think the same, for me is really funny play with u and other players with or without lag, for example with otlichno, our connection never has been good, but always is funny play with him.
PD: to win a 1st round will be really difficult, there are a lot of great players, new talents and old top players who come back.

J/K, love you dude. Welcome back. Like I've told you outside of ITST, the tour is so much better with you than without you. Now, all you need to do is create that 4x90, 80 40 40 guy and sign up for the regular tour.

Played Likos today and won 7-6 6-3
1st set: we hold very comfortably and he saved A LOT of points with his forehand  in the tie break he got the mini break and could have served for the set but i hit a backhand down the line to save and i win his next point and finish off with a slice ace down the line.

2nd set: i almost break him but he saves it wit either a huge forehand or big serve, then after that he gets 0-30 on my serve and i served really good and held . Then i broke at 3-4 and served it out gg ! my l2 was there when i needed it
Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm :P

Yes ToneDawg has been playing very well recently, he beat me 6-4 6-4. I was Bishop he was Gray. He got 12 aces (as usual) but what made me happy is I got 3!! I never get any aces so it's a pretty big thing for me. Our ground strokes are pretty evenly matched but he serves better than me so I cannot take advantage of my good return.

Bump!!

Had a fun match against Josenylund lost 7-6 6-7 7-6. It was tough, I had to get allot of balls back and he got allot more winners than me. I actually ended the match having won one more point but on the big points he was much better than me. He served for the set twice in the first set and served for the match in the third and had 3 match points in the second. I fought through and made it more competitive, and pushed it to a tie break.

Well, the old rivalries has started. Tombs as Bishop vs SoundfSilence as Lightman

Bishop's prayers turns Lightman's lights out

3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 at Roland Garros Exhibition

1st Set

Lightman playing aggressive S & V, racing to 3-0 lead, only for Bishop to surge back 3-3. Lightman was not impressed and won the next 3 games.

2nd Set

Bishop finding rhythm on returns, taking an early break.. Errors started to creep in Lightman's game while Bishop's groundstrokes became solid. All Bishop this set.

3rd Set

Bishop started where he left off and raced into 4-1 lead. Although Lightman got one break back, this wasn't enough, Bishop took the set relatively comfortably. Here Lightman called for a timeout. Bishop being a good sport let him have an extended timeout.

4th Set

Timeout tactics worked for Lightman as he came back fresh and raced into 4-0 lead! Bishop didn't know what hit him. Eventually Lightman served it out 6-2.

5th Set

Breaking Bishop immediately and holding his own service game, Lightman was 2-0 up, and volleying well. At 4-3, Bishop piled on the pressure. Lightman slow to get to net, while Bishop giving no freebies away. Eventually Lightman succombed to pressure. Bishop taking the intiative holding serve. Lightman serving at 4-5 goes 15-40, but saves both matchpoints, playing from the baseline. Only to give another matchpoint as he hits a groundstroke into net.

This time, Bishop was being pushed around the court. Tentative Lightman hit a weak shot when it should have been a winner. Bishop saw his chance, and third time lucky he hits a clean forehand crosscourt winner.

There will be scars for Lightman after this match, while Bishop will be confident for their next encounter.

It sure was fun, no sense of who was going to win the match until that final point was over  I believe I had a match point in the 3rd set tiebreak on my own serve but you played a great point to save it and from that point onwards my serve was constantly under threat.
It was my first ps3 match since January so it was nice to win this. I'm finding it so hard to find my timing though, especially on return. The ball just seems to fly wild from my racquet when I attempt to risk but hopefully I can improve on that.
I just need more practise at this stage :)

Okay, i just won a match

i was house, otlincho was bishop and the score was 3-6 6-2 6-3. Was quite 'windy' and topsy turvy

First set i got a break at 2-2 to go 3-2 up before losing 6 games to go 6-3 2-0 down, with him hitting awesome short angled shots. i then decided to return most serves up the middle to cut off his angles. I won the next 9 games to go 3-6 6-2 3-0 up. We then both held serves to the end with him catching on to my return methods.

Was good all round play from both of us, but i felt his volleys were better than mine. He had a good tactic in forcing me wide with either serve or groundstrokes before approaching.

Was quite a good match despite the lag :)

Yeah it was an awesome match. Honestly I'm a horrible strategist and dont have a plan B so when you started returning down the middle I was left wondering what to do . Great change up from you, it worked to perfection.

It was. Not that there's anything wrong with constant risk returning.

But I made a lefty with a 1 handed backhand so it's a bit more difficult, so I've stopped doing that.
