but yeah you're right, for the main draw it's still mainly only french players who get given the wild cards.
I believe though that's a type of normal occurrence, right?
At Wimby they would favour the british guys, US Open- the guys from the States, and so on, etc etc

I think it is the rules for the GS to give at least a certain amount of WC's to your own people, i read it somewhere...

This year there was a playoff for both women and men in the us and the winner recieced a wild card. And during the us open, they are doing the same thing, one French women and mens player is guaranteed a wild card

I think Murray and Djokovic should play in qualifying.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Simon is in a hole. A huge knee injury. He had to stop playing for a looong period.
First, he stopped log enough but started the competion too early and got injured again and even worse. Now he seems to be OK and he just started to touch the racket a week ago. He'll try to be ready for Wimby.
It will be very very difficult for him now thou imo. In order to come back where he was, in the shape he was it will so hard, i can barely imagine he makes it. No being seeded anymore will kill him. I think so but hope not.
He 's a cool dude.

I've seriously been wondering where Simon went. I thought maybe he died or something  I mean, I haven't seen that guy in a really long time...I actually like his style, though...at least it's somewhat unique.

Ancic is one player with seriously bad luck of one injury after the other.
I think he's only just now recovering from mono. That's the 2nd time he's had it. Poor guy. lol

Last I read was that he's asked for and received a wild card for the Queen's tourney.
Hopefully he gets to play there and then have a shot at Wimbledon.

Darn, and I was so looking forward to watching a clay master-class put on by the clay master himself, Ivo Karlovic
