Played Marlonbrando91, we both were House
I lost 6/4 7/6
Very difficult match for me, i could not even get a break point but i understand he is a top player. He definately hits very poweful strokes and moved around very well...
Have to keep improving :P

beat otlichno 7-5 6-3
first set he domeinates me in rallies with better return and me just watching return winners go by, but then i started risking and broke i was so lucky.
2nd set i break with lots of good returns without missing, he used l2 alot but it wasnt getting me unlees it was a 'powerless' drop shot sort of short shot. I break with lucky risk he should have varied serve more tho. then i break at the last game with a 10 min service game LOL i float a short shot then a easy shot for me afterwords, he played better than me but i won LOL

I'm happy I'm playing well, I played well against ToneDawg I guess I just find it hard to just get the win! There have been so many matches lately were I felt like I was playing so much better than my opponent but than in the end I lose. But ToneDawg played brilliantly he saw that I was finding it hard to do anything with my serve saw a pattern in my game and demolished me, I still feel that my serve and return are the basis of my game because I definitely think in a rally I will always have the advantage against anyone but starting a rally is difficult because I don't have the best defence and I can't start points off well. One positive thing I can get out of this is my drop volley has become such a big weapon for me, I find it more reliable than any other volley.

I ran into some random guy in player match who did it every second point with roddick. It was rather annoying. You think you can destroy the bad ones but you can't, which means even when he does a bad one I'm still not guaranteed an easy put away but when he does a good one I'm screwed.

bad ones are fun cos its either a winner or easy volley. i spent about 3 months trying to perfect the stick drpo volley, i still never quite got it.

Well could you believe it, after Tombs got a Win in ITST, he's got confidence and beat me in an exhibition :!:

Tombs' Bishop silences Sound's Lightman - 6-3, 3-6, 6-3

1st Set:

Tombs clearly was for up for it, forcing Sound to hit tough volleys, while holding it with relative comfort. Many breakpoint chances were saved by Sound, eventually one break was enough. Tombs served it out 6-3. Sound never saw a breakpoint.

2nd Set:

Wanting to show who's boss, Sound became more agressive from the baseline out rallying Tombs. Again, only one break of serve, Sound served it out 6-3. Tombs had one breakpoint, quickly erased by a superb volley.

3rd Set:

Momentum shift here as Tombs served first. He broke at 4-3, when Sound was 30-0 up... Sound tried to hit a flush volley, to wrong foot Tombs, old Tombs too wise for that, brings it to 30-15. Mistakes crept in Sound's game, Tombs capitalised.

Serving it out at 5-3, Tombs held his nerve, immense pressure at 30-30, Tombs went for the lines. It paid off. Good win, hope you continue this way. There will be revenge :devil

I beat MarlonBrando 6-1 6-0!! He wasn't playing that well but I took my opportunities when I saw them and never gave him an opening. His serve and return (the two things I find hardest to break down in his game) weren't working today at all which is why I won.
