Abidal-Milito?... :? I won't be too confident with Abidal in central def! (i'll always remember how ridiculous he was with France Team at this place...)
I more see a Marquez-Milito...
I do think Barça will win too...But I say that your central defense is not the same with or without Puyol-Piqué (Exp-Skills)...And if Barça was to loose (i hardly believe this but hey...It's footbal) i am pretty sure it will be because of this...

I see you cover yourself pretty well.
Barca should win but if they lose it's because of the defense, if Arsenal win- "hey that's football"
Either way you're safe. :P

As for the defence, that's the way I understood the choices were to be made.
But ok I don't want to pull a 'Q' here  so lets wait until match time to see Guardiolas starting line-up.

Haha! You got me Bloufo!I can't choose!I like to watch both teams!!!
Ok...It was "great" explanations from me...But what i meant is that Arsenal,by its teamplay, could more easily play without those missing players, and that Barça could not...Because for Barça it's important defensors who are missing...And,sometimes,when key defensors are missing it's more difficult to replace than key offensive players...
I dunno if i can be more clear (sorry i'd like to but i think words are missing...)
Arsenal teamplay is awesome...Like in Barcelona,it's cultural...So i'm sure Arsenal can still have some good gameplays (and gameplans) with his "awesome" scorer Bendtner and everybody running around him trying to find his "incredible" finishing skills!
Without Puyol,Piqué it CAN be the whole team suffering of this : less turnovers, little mistakes that allow Arsenal to play, positionning problems...
Well...That said,i really think Barça will score a goal, maybe Arsenal can score 1 or 2 (in the end) but that will be it...

yes your explanation is very well thought out. :)

bottom line is I still think that Arsenal won't be able to exploit what you perceive as defensive weakneses in the Barca team.

But you know that's exactly what they said when Buster Douglas fought Mike Tyson. And then Douglas went on and KO'd Tyson.

Anyway, the main thing for us fans is that we hope to see a good game between two sides that play a beautiful style of football. :tu

Newcastle is a great club. One of the best supported clubs.
They had many problems on and off the field last season. I'm glad they made it back on the first time of asking.
To my mind a club of that stature should not be playing in the lower division.

Hopefully they give Chris Houghton a chance to see how he does in the Premiership. He definately deserves it.

Newcastle United is a sleeping giant. It has to potential to be a big club. But until they have someone on the helm who has a vision and is actually allowed to make a mistake or 2 its going to remain known as the graveyard for good players. Names like Duff, Luque, Alan Smith and Geremi come to mind when thinking of Newcastle now.

from what I've picked up and heard, the geordie's are a funny bunch.
they will tolerate losing a match or dropping points as long as the players work their socks off and play entertaining football.
Keegan in his first spell over there tried that attacking football approach and came very close twice to the title. They love him over there because he understood them like no other manager has.

okay thanks.
i googled out that newcastle was 4 times champion.

tonight start the barca -arsenal match .great.

to be honest i have a bigger eye3 on the inter mailand match. when inter loose than its good for germany. because than we have next year 1 starterplace more in CL .for that we need 1 team in semifinal uefa cup !!!(we have 2 HSV plus VFL WOLFSBURG )
when inter win ,than bayern must win and we need semifinal(final) in uefa cup

awesome awesome awesome awesome .
i said that this will be awesome ?
