Unfortunately, I don't know if the enough of the WS tour would be interested. I hope so, though. As much as I enjoy the current tour, Sim allows for much more interesting gameplay.

I understand what Coolhand says. But in the 40-90 you can make your own character but there is not much variety in the setups ?

Anyways I already thought from the beginning a WSS would be amazing cause I kind of stopped playing WS pretty soon cause I felt it was too powerfull . Specially cause the women move less good it felt too far from tennis for me.

Anyhow I didn't play enough WS to really know a 100% how it is so we sure need to test setups and players.

I'd definately give WSS a shot. WS as it is, is just mindless ball bashing. add to that the poor movement and its no fun. feels like a completely different game.
But as its been said its up to those that regularly play WS now.

Also, it would need months of testing imo. To make a good sim for WS, we'd probably need less powerful/faster setups.

True. Very True.

I know it is probably not the best or morally right way, but, I would like to ask all the people in WS top 10 to voice their opinion....

.....these are the guys that have to lose most in the event something like this happens.

What do you think guys? Speak up.

I spent a lot of time to improve my game in WS and finally I reached 11th rank.
many other guys like me did a great job to get good results.
btw even if I play regularly ws i have already said I vote YES.
imo SIM will give more competition to women tour.
but I wouldn't throw in the rubbish all the job I did...so I was thinking at the ranking system...even if we'll replace regular with sim I think we could keep the same ranking.
so "old ws players" could join new tour without losing too much thing
what do u think about it?

and about roster:SIM will need tough work to create a balanced roster.
I think that will be important to lower serve.women tennis is distinguished by a lot of breaks...serve is not a weapon!

I am ranked Number 4 on PS3 and I think maybe if we had some WS Sim options we could at least have the option to try some out and see what happens.

PS3 only tends to have 12-16 regular players anyway so if there were some SIM options there I'm sure 80% of us would try them by choice anyway.

The hosts could organize a tournament with 8 participants and test this new format.
I participate without a problem.

Yes SIM is deifnately the way forward - I like WS for a bit but got frustrated with the movement of the girlies in general - that aside, with less on power and more on skill and timing this sounds like a good idea for people who want a true WS experience.

My only concern is how popular it will be, as Anteros said. Perhaps starting some SIM tournies to 16 players, or even start ay 32 draw then if not popular enough after a few months downscaling it to 16, with perhaps the exception of masters or grandslams...

I felt the need to bump this up again.

I really hope the Management can find some time to try a tester tournament, PS3 tour especially because it is becoming ridiculous, I'm just going through the motions now I can't be bothered to even try.

I think given the small number of players on PS3 tour we need to vote with our feet. I have just withdrawn from Family Circle Cup on PS3.

Agreed. This is 99% of all PS3 WS matches -
1) both players serve +95%
2) receiver risks every return and hits 80% errors
3) both players hold VERY easily until TB
4) in TB, both players double-trigger EVERY return, whoever gets the first risk-return winner steals the set. Repeat.

I won't even start on the stacked set-ups. But there's a reason why great players like Jose & Djarvik have quit the women's tour.

It's a shame mid season last year there were some real fun matches to be played.

I think I've just kept playing out of habit, everyone is a CCBRWN clone (remember him) - withdraw in protest from Family Circle Cup.

BTW Brger we should play soon it has been too long.

HAHAHHA! I remember that guy. He came on and talked all this noise about being the best and dominating everyone. 4X90 80 set up. And then proceeded to get banned.

We do need to play again for sure. Hope you've been well.

   8)

EDIT: never mind, the link somehow only links to MS head to head :? not to WS. It's 6.1

I remember him well......he was "unbeatable" .....until I knocked him out from a few tournaments in a raw, with a semi sim charter vs his monster (he was 6,4 or something? ....maxed out).....then he shot a nasty video about ITST and posted it on you-tube, got banned. I bring out the worst in people 8)

yes, all the matches in WS are like you say, i understand djarvik and jose, and i am not one of the best player in WS, i have to improve a lot in this tour, but i would like improve playing good matches, with realistic stats, and without use risk shots in every return if i want break the service, i am losing the interest in WS tour and in MS tour, SIM´s rules!!!!!!

The xbox ws tour seems to be in decline at the moment..only one top 5 player is playing it seems. I've been signing up for tournaments but not playing as I'm struggling to find the motivation to play ws to be honest. I'll try and make my comeback this week though. I should really have taken advantage of the fact Anteros and Coolhand have been away lol but Norberto seems to have a lock on ws tournaments at the moment anyway :P
