Can we name the players what we want or do we still have to call them by "their" names

We'll have to discuss the names issue. I think it's worked out pretty nicely the way it is now, and I was against it at first. It does sort of give them life though, and makes it much easier to talk about them and check which character your opponent is using.

Out of curiosity, how do most of you feel about the way it is now? Would you like to be able to make up your own name, or would you rather keep it so that it is easier to check?

BTW: I added a link to the pdf on every Sim tournament page. If you are unsure which list to use for a tournament, just click the link and it will open that tournament's roster. I will continue to do this for a few weeks after the new list goes into effect.

I agree it needs to remain easy to check quickly which player we are talking about but there is another way than giving them last names.

Since i guess ITST will not create more sim players than the numbers of letters of the alphabet, we could just use the first letter of the first name ; since it appears. Then we can choose the last name we want for our character.

Bashmakov will become B. Nakamura can become K, Lopez L and so on. Now, when you play your opponent, " B.robitst" will appear, you know Rob will be using former Nakamura.

Does than make sense?I don't know ho often the first letter of the fisrt nale appears though...

Otherwise, i just don't really care. Naming them the way it is now is just fine to me

I gotta say Rob and ITST that the new roster i believe is perfect.

On reflection my Cannon was too powerful - but i never thought i would say this but i much prefer the new setup. I can still generate sufficient power, risking if required and the extra stamina and especially serve really suits my game.

I have also completely changed my style, i have changed back to motion B single handed backhand which is the style i started with - better angles and more control, especially on the 87 backhand side!

Plus, I have finally had enough of the roddick serve motion, i am now gonna use motion A going forward, more realistic, timely, and i can serve volley on the odd point with 69 on volley (thanks to your advice Rob)

I feel like a totally new player - anyway enough of my drizzle, for now....

I was wondering how to enter them, because I saw that someone won one on the site. And I can't see any challenger events in tournaments section.

Am I missing something?

Also I didn't read op, I just assumed it was about the tournaments lol.

Challengers aren't always offered every week, especially when there are two larger ATP tournaments in the same week.

For the week of March 1st, there will be a Challenger - signup will begin Sunday or Monday.
