In the womens I lost to burgerflipr 7-6 3-6 7-6. He played very well especially on the important points, I was up a couple of minibreaks in the first set tiebreak and was up 6-3 or 6-2 but he managed to win all the remaining points of the set to get the set 8-6. Second set I returned much better and served rather well too. Third set I was up a break but he broke back and we had a bit of a break serve battle going on until he broke my serve when I was serving for the match at 5-4, then we both held serve till the tiebreak which he won 7-4 or 7-5.
Work me a boss.

Id like to welcome Xbox player USFEDERER to the PS3 tour, i see he lost his first tour match to Parsons 7-5 7-5, not bad considering Parsons is very good and also that he is new to the tour,
Welcome mate :c

Had some fun exhibitions:

Nakamura (me) vs Burns (v_x_m). I won comfortably, from that match I think Burns looked quite weak and it was probably v_x_m's first time to use him. Normally we are very close.

Then I took my Nakamura to to challenge tonedawg's Bashmakov. He was very tough, and he won without breaking a sweat :D tonedawg was launching precision missile serves

And last one was against alex who used House, I used Nakamura. Excellent matchup, it was close but alex took it in straight sets.

This was definitely one of the craziest matches i've ever played. it was also a match that i DID NOT deserve to win. Down a mini-break in the 1st set TB, got destroyed in the 2nd set, down a break in the 3rd. Safe to say, i was very lucky to get thru.

Your constant risk-returns reminded me a lot of andymachine. I was holding on for dear life on every serve w/ so many returns blasted at my feet. I better serve a little better or else next time we play, i'm sure you'll be handing me my head.

Was a nice couple of matches, the only difference was I was lucky enough to convert the break points :)

Played 2 fun matches today as Mister Burns

First one was against MarlonBrando91's Bashmakov which i won 6-4 6-3. S&V'ing against Bash went fairly well, but he used his bashmakov as a volley player aswell which proved disastrous for him at certain points.

I noticed with Burns if you can keep bashmakov running around you can actually outrally him, i found that extremely satisfying as most people tend to agree bashmakov is a bit overpowered. Although the short points were obviously in bashmokovs favor.

Second match was against Coke(Thompson) which i lost 5-7 6-3 6-2

I played really really well in 1st set, my volley were spot on. One of the greatest aspects about our match was the fact we both had high speed (90\89) and lower groundstrokes, which made the match a tactical one.
Coke produced great passingshots, which made it more difficult to volley, but nonetheless i steamed to the net no matter what lol.
During 2nd and 3rd set coke upped his game and could break me 3 times, i had many breakpoints but couldn't convert. He forced me to play 2, 3 shots more and it payed off in the long run.

All in all a great tennisevening for me!

I played a really fun sim match against DarkPaladin, i used Tompson and he used Burns, i won 5-7 6-3 6-2. I played really well and so did he, but due to the fact he S&V i found it very hard to find any rythm and that lead to alot of errors, and his speed made me hit many more. I passed really well but due to his amazing volleys he could get to them and put them away.

1st Set-We both held reasonably straightforwardly until 2-3 when he got a break point but i saved it, he both continued holding, but he was holding more comfortably than me. At 5-6 on my serve he got 15-40, i saved the first with a volley but hit a FH wide at 30-40 to give him the set.
2nd Set- I had to save break points in my first service game and then I got a break at 1-1 and held for 3-1, then with him serving at 3-5 i got 15-40, and i forced him to hit a forehand into the net to give me the set.
3rd Set- The third set was very close, i held then got some b.p but he saved them, then in my next game he got 0-40, but i raised my game and saved all the break points, i then got a break in his next game after a really long rally made me run all over the court and manage to force him to dunk a volley into the net. With him serving at 2-5 we had a really long game, he had many chances to hold but i kept bringing it back to duece, i also had a few match points but he saved them, but i finally took the match when he hit a volley wide.

I played Coke today and won 6-0, 6-0. Then I played Djarvik and won 6-1, 6-2. My toughest match was against TOMO I was leading 6-1, 4-1 when he retired.

But seriously, I agree w/ coke. This is a forum to discuss matches, it's not just a scoreboard. No one cares that you won --- to ---.

I always wondered how this worked with ps3. The biggest problem for me creating a new player is that I have to delete updates for ALL games, not just TS3, forcing me to re-update everything every time I play any other game. Does the same thing happen on the ps3? Sorry to get off topic like this, a quick answer will suffice.
