Red group is done. I got past TheCooler618 6-2, 6-0. He's played me much tougher in past matches, I think he was a little off today, but it was a much tougher match than the score showed. Lots of good rallies and long points.

Good luck guys! I think it is TOMO VS Josenylund in the final. Altho I never played Alex, TOMO is hard to overlook. Second match will be a fight, but Josenylund leads head-to-head at 2:1 and both wins were in later stages of the tournament. Can brgerflipr handle the pressure of playing him past QF? ....remains to be seen. I will be pulling for brgerflipr, if he wins, he can finally avenge a few bagels from TOMO.

You're probably right. I just hope he's not a short-slice player, so that even if(or when) I lose, its still a fun match.

Played (and lost) my game vs tomo. It was fun altogether, good match, good player. I'll do set's break down later if anyones interested.

1st Set

This one flew by me, It lasted 10 mins or so. I usually try to analyse my opponent during opening games, especially when I've never faced them, meaning I play a bit passively. Tomo took advantage of that and was agressive straight away, breaking me straight away.

I held my next two service games, then he broke me again. However, I was making him run alot.

2nd Set

I thought I would be blown away here, but I broke early on (3rd game or so). With stamina in bright red, Tomo's serve became more fragile. He commited 3 or 4 double faults in that set, though none on break point. Agressive returning got me through. I was getting to 30 or deuce on his service games, whereas mine became much more easy to hold.


3rd Set

More of the same, I was getting points on his service games. Then at 3-2, advantage me on tomo's serve, a hurricane alert. Game was postponed, and resumed. After that break, well rested, tomo found his serve again, saved break point, and was running all over the place once more.
We held serves until a tiebreak.
I went a minibreak up, he got it back, then went up a minibreak, which I got back. Serving at 8-9, he returns well, I'm forced into a make or break risk, which breaks.

Guess I can delete my sim char now, make some space for another new sim set up

josenylund told me that they tried to play many times but they disconnected each time...so the match has been decided by coin toss...what a shame!
